I really like the dress .... but .... maybe you can sell it on preownedweddingdresses.com and find the funds for a new one (but don't sell it until you get a new one ... eek!) But, I do think your solution to the dress problem sounds about right. See what a seamstress will do (and how much it will cost!) and then try to find a sample dress. David's Bridal is having their huge sale right now, aren't they?

That gift bag looks FANTASTIC by the way! I had heard about those disney wedding m and m's but hadn't seen them... I think we might have to order some now!

I did post about your dress a couple of pages back but I think you may have missed it as it wasn't in your multi-quote reply. I just wanted to say that every bride should wear a dress she loves on her big day, and if it really isn't love between you and the dress then you shouldn't wear it. I know you said that it isn't within your budget to get a new one, and I'm not really sure what to suggest. Could you stretch to hiring a dress you love? I know that it is far from ideal, but may be preferable to having to wear a dress you hate. Hugs to you, my sweet Kristi, at this difficult time.

Oh and to help with your dress problem I have a referral to bestbridalprices.com for you. My girls got their AA bridesmaids dresses there for $40 cheaper than in store. I know it might be unusual but you might want to try some gowns on locally and order off of there. It would save you a lot of money. They are a local bridal store an hour outside of where I live and sell their dresses discounted online.

Thank you My grandfather is the closest person to me. I haven't slept a bit, and work was HORRIBLE today trying to get through it. He's still in ICU, with the same progress. Just keep those prayers coming!

The prices aren't too bad. They are $10.99 for a 7 oz bag, or if you buy 3 they are $9.99. They even have these, which would be perfect for your engagement

Thank you! I was thinking about getting each kid a 7 oz bag, all with different ones in them. For the 10 year old I'd get the Mickey/Minnie ones, one boy the cars ones and the other the toy story ones, and the 2 year old the princess ones!
