The plan at the moment is to come up sometime on Wednesday (I live in South Florida so just a 3 hour drive) and stay until Monday or Tuesday. Notice I don't even have my hotel booked yet. I feel like I can't do much until I send the contract back. I figure that the good thing about having only a few months to plan is that I can't keep changing my mind on things - I have to make a decision and stick to it - which is sooo hard for me because like you I can easily keep changing my mind. We must just believe it will all turn out beautifully and the day will be wonderful no matter what... I forgot if you said how long you are going to be there.

Just caught up with your PJ Kristi. I have been a bad bride and not posted for a while but I just read about 15 pages and LOVE your invites. They are perfect

So sorry to hear about Cali Grill, but as others have said it is definitely worth checking back everyday to see if a time has opened up for you. I have done this on several trips in the past and it always worked out really well.

Looking forward to reading more and can't believe how close our weddings are now.

We are leaving September 23rd and staying until October 2nd. I think it'll be a good time to go. The crowds shouldn't be too bad, and we will hit up MNSSHP and F&W!
I sometimes wish I hadn't planned things so quickly. I'm bored now and need something wedding related to do...haha!
I don't think you're planning to late at all! I think the timing is perfect and everything will still be as beautiful as someone who's planned for a year

I love everything you're doing, your STD's/invites are amazing, lovin the dress, jewelry and the fact that you're wearing chucks!!!! Awesome! I actually built a pair on the converse site a while back that I'm going to order for my wedding, they're going to be my something blue if you don't have yours yet, definitely check it out, the (red) custom pairs have embroidered hearts and various heart patterns to choose from, they're very cool.

I'm sorry to hear about Cali Grill but Narcoossee's is great and so are the rest of your ADR's..if you're looking to try somewhere tasty in Epcot, check out Chefs de France, I just cancelled my Le Cellier lunch ressie to eat there instead when I head down next month.

I'm very excited to see more on S&D, I have a meeting with Karen next month to check out the property, it's in the final running for DF & I's location in April.

Thank you for the compliments!! I have played around with making the converses! It was actually a toss up between the ones I got vs some red ones (df wants to wear red ones with his grey suit). I need to go play around again on the site, it's been awhile!

They have a print that's red with tiny white hearts that is ADORABLE!!! Definitely play on the site it's too much fun And you deserve a new pair of chucks for your wedding!

I'm finally posting a pic of our invitations! Since it's Disney's 40th Anniversary this year, we decided to go with a ticket book to give it a more vintage feel
They are not completed yet, but I do have the front and back of the ticket books to post. They inside of the ticket book is almost done!

First I'll post pictures of our inspiration, which was tickets from Disneyland

The inside looks very similar to the inspiration as well, but just different wording. Instead of "Welcome to Disneyland" we have "Welcome to Kristi and Brian's Wedding" with a little personalized message from us underneath, signed by us in the Disney font.
I think they came out great! I'll post another pic when the inside of the ticket book is all done, and when it's all together!!

How did he do this??? I am planning doing our invitations myself. I am a graphic designer in a way. I design wedding albums. So Photoshop is like the back of my hand I know it so well. But I am wondering things like printing paper etc.

Any information and tips would be very helpful.

Oh did I mention I LOVE THE INVITATIONS!!!!! its a great idea any time but especially for this year!

So it's been FOREVER since I've updated this thing!
I'm happy to say, the invitations are DONE! I never thought this day would come...haha! Brian and one of his friends worked on finishing them last night. I think they did a great job! We sent them off and they should be back in about a week so we can get those out!!!
Here they are:

I've bought my iron-on transfer from etsy, and she is making me a Maid of Honor one the same exact way. It's for Brian's 10 year old niece, she will love it I'm going to go to Old Navy and get some tank tops to iron them on.

I started working on the bags. I've decided to just do the kids a bag. There's four of them, Aiden (my son) and Brian's 2 nieces (10 and 1) and nephew (2).
The first bag I did was for his 10 year old niece. I'm still working on things to go in this bag. She's very girly girl so I'm trying to find things Disney related things she would like and not spend too much.
This is just like her bag:

I'm having her name and a Mickey put on it in hot pink! I will also include her shirt I'm making in there.

For the other 3, I just got 3 reusable bags:

I'm including a beach towel in each:

And of course a vinyl in each!

I'm still busy working on filling the bags. We are going to a Disney outlet the weekend of July 4th (on our way to the beach) and I'm hoping to find some things to add! For the 2 boys I have some Disney cups, flip flops, and different Disney themed items I'm looking at putting in them! I'm also putting the "I'm Celebrating" buttons in each of them. I just have to find 4 of them! I'll update when I have the bags all done!

I'm working on a sketch that I want our cake to look like. As soon as I get with the bakery and work on the final idea I'll post it! It's getting closer!!!

I can't even believe how fast it's going by!! I remember in November one of my friends saying, it'll go by so fast and you wont even realize it. Well here we are just 3 months to go! And I'm sure these 3 months will fly by! I mean, we only have the summer left! That's crazy!!
