Kristi and Brian's Wedding **New Plans!**

A little update, we got Rose and Crown for 7:50 on Sept 28th! Hopefully we will be able to see Illuminations that night while at dinner.
Why have I become so fascinated with fireworks all of a sudden :confused3

Woohoo! It's okay, I'm obsessed with them too! While in the World I must see them as much as I possibly can! :lmao:

I am obsessed with fireworks too! Our wedding is late (7:30) and cocktail hour doesn't start til 8:30 with dinner at 10ish, right when fireworks are starting! I told my wedding planner that I didn't care what we were doing, but that when Wishes was going on, we had to go to take pictures! I don't care if we leave the guests eating, but that is a top priority for me! Is that bad?

haha! I don't think it's bad at all! I think I'd be the same way!

We ate at Rose and Crown in December. We checked in a bit early and requested an outdoor table (for the view), and then when we met our server, we let her know we were wanting to hang around for the fireworks, so we were not in a hurry. She was fine with that, and then she told us they have a viewing area below the patio where the tables are that is roped off for customers only. We got done right before the show and decided to go down there instead, and the view was AWESOME. Completely unobstructed! So keep that in mind too!

I told Brian that I'm just going to be in control of the camera, so get ready for tons of pictures...haha!!

That sounds awesome!!! Thank you!!!!

Your ADR's look great! I can't wait to read your reviews. Oh and the food and wine festival will be so much fun:goodvibes

Just checking in! We opted for a ticket option for our bar. Hoping you won't mind if we barrow your vintage ticket idea for these! :goodvibes

Hi Kristi

I just read through your whole journal tonight. I'm really loving your dress with the converse. Your invites/STDs are amazing! Really looking forward to seeing a S&D wedding. Super bummed about the California Grill (keeping my fingers crossed for you & Brian).

I'm especially glad that you're just as wishy washy as I am! :lmao:

BTW I think I have a new crush on this guy with amazing dance moves...:dancer:

Hi!!
Thanks for all the compliments!!
And yes, I'm super wishy washy! Sometimes I wish everything was all planned, but then sometimes I'm glad it's not. Planning seems to make the time go by faster!!

And this is Mr. Creepo :dancer: He's pretty awesome!!!

So I am officially done reading up to page 17, that's more than halfway! :goodvibes
Just wanted to say that I love your dress & that you will be wearing converse. I also love your make up inspiration pic where the girl had the flower in her hair.. I actually used that same picture for my e-pics. :rotfl: the jewelry you ended up choosing is gorgeous I especially like the headband. Let's see I also really like the tux you guys ended up choosing and DF's ring. I instantly sent a pic to my DF and he really liked it... so I am off to overstock and will resume reading later! :)

I know what you mean about the fireworks! I blame the disboards for the fascination.

Before I came on here, yes, I loved fireworks, but never enough to plan my Disney itinerary around them. Now I see all of these pictures of newly married couples kissing in front of fireworks and I think I need that too!

When i realized I wanted a dessert party just so I could have an excuse for firework pictures, I knew it was time to reevaluate. We can't be spending $2000+ on a party just for fireworks.

So I completely get it.

Oh yea, and I <3 the vintage ticket invites.

I'm bacckkkkkkk!
I'm done reading & obviously have not gotten any work done...:rolleyes1
Anyway I love the coupon book. If you do not mind me asking how did you assemble it? I'm also really sorry about Cali Grill but I'm glad everything is working out. :)

I just spent the last hour and a half reading through your post. Everything looks great so far. You're making me very nervous though. I just got engaged a month ago and called Disney that Monday - went up for a site visit the following Friday - and booked September 24th - so we're same weekend brides:bride:. That's all I've got. (Stupid job is getting in the way of planning)... I'm still waiting to get the contract back so I can sign it and send it in. I've been several times in Sept and the parks were always empty so I'm shocked that restaurants are booked up. Wanted to let you know though that compared to me you're waaayyy ahead of the game:cutie: I'm going to keep following you - I know you'll keep me on my toes.

Thanks!!! I really love that look! That's why I LOVED your epics so much!!!
And if he likes that ring, definitely get it from overstock! I saw the exact ring in a store locally and it was so much more!
I am still on a mission to find that tux! I'm hoping since it's getting closer to summer I'll find one like it :)

haha! I'd love the dessert party for that reason as well, but it's just not fitting the budget for the fireworks...haha!!!

Yay!! I'm glad you are back!! Brian is actually finishing the middle part this weekend, so I'll let you know how he ends up putting it all together. He's pretty much doing it all, that's his little project! haha!! Hopefully he will actually get it done and I can do a little update to this thing! I haven't done anything wedding related in way too long!!

Yay!! Wedding weekend twins! Atleast you will have a planner and they really make it easy on us hard working brides!
I couldn't believe California Grill was booked up! Everything else we wanted seemed available except for that. Oh well, I sure hope we like Narccossee's!
How long are you going to be staying in Disney?
I'm glad you said I'm ahead of the game. I've been feeling so behind lately! It's been over a month since I've really done anything wedding related:scared1:

Just caught up with your PJ Kristi. I have been a bad bride and not posted for a while but I just read about 15 pages and LOVE your invites. They are perfect :goodvibes

So sorry to hear about Cali Grill, but as others have said it is definitely worth checking back everyday to see if a time has opened up for you. I have done this on several trips in the past and it always worked out really well.

Looking forward to reading more and can't believe how close our weddings are now.:thumbsup2
