Goodness it never seems to give a break does it??!??

We too were in and out and literally as soon as I walked in the door Eva threw up...Needless to say there was NO WAY I was turning around and going back! I "think" we are ok since there is nothing other than congestion and a terrible cough but she is not wheezing and so far we are holding down feeds.

I wish they could figure these kiddos out. Every time we get the feeds under control they throw us a curve ball...I know you too have the weight and feeding issues. It is so frustrating. This is why I hate summer because people give me looks like I am starving Eva.


Please let us know how things are going when you get a chance. You and Kylee are in my prayers!

Sorry to hear that Kylee had to be admitted into the hospital so soon again! Praying that the doctors will come up with an answer to help Kylee!

How did the children enjoy their day learning about the circus? I know the rest of the family miss you when you and Kylee have to stay in the hospital. Hope it'll be a short stay for you both!

Our company left yesterday afternoon so I'll have some time this week to give you a call.

Hi Kris, Hope you are getting a chance to rest up after your stay in the hospital! I'm glad we had the chance to talk for a little bit on Monday. So glad that Kylee was able to leave the hospital in time to go to camp. Hope she is having lots of fun!

Thank you everyone. We got home from the hospital at 7:30pm. I hurried up and packed. She scared me though as she was really complaining about her stomach hurting her and didn't fall asleep until 11:30pm, but woke up in the morning ok. She started a new med..so not sure if that was it or not. She is at camp now and hopefully enjoying herself with her best friend. No calls..so that's good. I do miss her. Feels so funny not doing all her meds and feedings. I can actually just get up and get my coffee and sit at the computer. Here are a couple of pictures of Kylee when we dropped her off to camp

Never a break, but you know how that is. I'm sorry Eva is going back and forth going to the hospital. Frustrating.
I get the looks too. Kylee's arm are so tiny. Thankfully with clothes on...she doesn't look that bad. Thanks to being admitted alot and doing TPN during her stays.. she went from 37lbs to 42 lbs. in 8 months time. Just need to keep her there. Keeping Eva in my thoughts and prayers.

I know my TR should be closed but wanted to share what Lynn made for Kylee. Our Children's Hospital only has adult size surgical mask and Kylee throws a fits wearing them when they access her Port. Not anymore...Lynn made some kid size mask for her with matching hats. Kylee loves them. Thank you Lynn
