Is the prime rib really gone? That was always one of my favorite meals on Disney property. Hawaiian bread (with that yummy butter), prime rib/mashed potatoes/vegetables and of course...and Island Sunset!

I thought they still had the prime rib but Im not 100% sure. I will have dinner there on the 21st..

Nope, checked the menus on allears (updated 8/09) and its gone

Awwe.... we ate there in April and it was there. That is too bad. They always had good prime rib.

I wonder though, maybe they took it off for free dining and will update their menu's again.

I don't recall seeing prime rib in August when we ate there. There was a steak though, my husband had it and enjoyed it. I thought the shrimp and scallops was excellent too.

I heard that Prime Rib was gone at all the Disney restaurants...could be rumor. I forget what cut I was told they were replacing it with.

I wonder though, maybe they took it off for free dining and will update their menu's again.

Except the Prime Rib was less expensive than the two remaining steaks and a large amount is prepared at one time (less work than individual steaks) so I don't think this has anything to do with free dining.
