Kona or 'Ohana

For those who have tried them both- which do you suggest?

Who will be having dinner? If there are kids, I'd say Ohana. The ambience is lovely...you may even get a view of the castle! The food is good, too.

If adults only, I would probably say Kona. Great food. Okay ambience...you're sort of out in the public eye.

You'll love either of these!!!

Have done both, and enjoyed both of them..If I had to choose one over the other..Kona's hands down. We enjoyed the meal here very much.

We have been to the Poly 10 adventures in a row - if its not the Poly, we're not going. We only ate at Kona the first 9. We gave 'Ohana a shot the last trip and loved! In fact, we ate there twice (because of a storm at the luau) and it was great both times. We will still eat at Kona but but we fell in love wit 'Ohana...

Kona-great dinner and breakfast his past week

We are doing both on our trip in May. We haven't tried O'hana yet, had to cancel that dinner on the last trip so it made sense to try it on this one. Kona was our favorite meal of our last trip however so we couldn't not eat there again. Now if only we had gotten my parents to make room ressies at the Poly instead of CR where we are staying and currently have NO ADRs.

Both are excellent choices. We usually do both on our trips. However, if I had to pick one I would probably choose Ohana. Try to do both if you can.

I couldn't decide on our trip last May, so we did both. Kona was so much better! We all thought the food at O'hana was rather nasty.

If you are the type of person that cares more about food "quantity" versus food "quantity" you will like 'Ohana better. You can eat off meat skewers to your heart's content.

If you want more of a dining experience focused on the food, then you would prefer Kona.

'Ohana if you have kids. I've done it with older kids and toddlers. . .it is awesome!
