We got to WDW on Saturday and our BLT room was not ready so we hopped on the monorail for our lunch ADR at Kona. What a great choice! We have eaten dinner there in the past and were not disappointed.
I made a deal with one of my friends that I would drink trendy beers when I have a chance instead of the old standbys I can get anywhere, so DH and I both ordered Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale. Very nice. We had the pot sticker appetizer. I could have licked that sauce off of the plate.
For entrees I had the pan chicken with coconut and mango sauces. It was very tender inside with a great crunch on the outside. DH had the asian noodle bowl. Our waiter (Dave, I think) brought him a straw just in case he wanted to suck the remaining broth out of the bowl! He really enjoyed it and even used up all of the hot sauce that came with it. No dessert. We used TIW.
A very nice break in the middle of the day and lots of empty tables so this would be a great place for someone who needs food but doesn't have an ADR, even if they have to hope on the resort monorail.
