The Kona Cafe at the Poly and The Wave at the Contemporary are now offering mobile ordering for take out items on their respective menus.

Do a search on the app for either The Wave or Kona and you'll see the option for "to go".

It's not showing up. I only see the "Find on Map", "Get Directions", "Join Walk-Up List", "Reserve Dining", and "View Menu" options.

I don't think they are allowing it yet. At least I couldn't actually do it, but I do see the link. I guess they will be adding it soon.

So, am I right in assuming that you do not need an ADR to do this to-go order? We have an upcoming stay at the Poly in November with no availability for dinner at Kona.

Just an update. It appears that mobile ordering take-out for The Wave and Kona Cafe is up and running. Just do a search on the WDW app for each restaurant. Only downside is that I don't see a way to modify your selections such as requesting a burger with no mayo, no cheese, etc.

Scroll down to the bottom of the individual entrée page, there's a drop down menu below the "Meat Temperature" check boxes that says "Customize Your Selection" with Bacon, Cheese, Onion, and Tomato options. That menu is a pretty hidden unless your scroll all the way down.

Also Mousesteps had some good Kona burger pics last week, along with the little condiment jars. FWIW!
