We'd really like to eat here but there is nothing on the menu my daughter likes. Her ideal Breakfast food is a bagel or croissant. They serve neither of these at Kona. Would they be able to get her one from Capt. Cooks or will she just have to wait till we're done and we get one for her ourselves??

The main reason for our visit to Kona is the Tonga toast for my DH. I know Capt. Cooks had them but I don't know if the still do.

Any thoughts???

They might be able to accommodate her, but I'd really recommend she look at the menu ahead of time again. Their breakfasts are incredible.

Have her look at the menu and if there isnt anything she wants swing by Capt Cooks and grab it to go and take it to Kona with you! Are you sure she wouldnt like pancakes or Tonga Toast? The tonga toast is amazing, altho I normally get mine from Capt Cooks..

How would your DD feel about banana nut bread? It comes with the fruit plate. Alternately, both the macadamia pineapple pancakes and the blueberry pancakes look yummy. Failing all else, the Kona coffee kiosk is near the Kona Cafe, and I believe there are pastries available at the coffee bar.

GiGi has made an excellent suggestion...

The Kona Coffee Bar is located right beside the Kona Cafe (second floor, by the monorail entrance), and they sell assorted pastries there during the mornings. I am sure the staff at Kona would not have any issue with your purchasing a QS pastry from the coffee bar, and your daughter then bringing that along into the Cafe so that you can all dine together. :thumbsup2

I don't know about breakfast, but I know that at dinner they will allow you to select sushi from the Kona Island and charge it as a TS meal. You still get your appetizer and dessert as well. You may want to look into it if that if it suits you.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!!

I think I will have her just pick up a pastry of some sort before we go in. She is SO not a breakfast eater but the rest of us just love it!! I especially love it when I don't have to cook it!! :rotfl:

Thanks again!!
