Kona cafe breakfast question

We have ressies at Kona Cafe at 7:45 Am on a day we are going to MK. We are staying at POR. Our plan is to drive to the Poly, eat breakfast and then hop on the monorail to MK. Is there any reason that won't work? Is it Ok to leave our car at the Poly while we are at MK for the day?

I believe that you are allowed only 2 hours for parking while dining at a resort where you are not a registered guest.

If you don't mind leaving a little bit earlier in the morning, it is probably better to just park your car at the TTC and take the resort monorail to the Poly. That way when you're done with breakfast, you can just take MK monorail directly from there. By the way, we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (GF) 2 weeks ago and parked at the GF. We weren't going to the parks that day, but no one gave us a parking pass for the GF visitor parking and I never saw any parking attendants. I wonder if we did go to the parks that day if anyone would have ever figured out that we weren't guests of the hotel?
