Kona Cafe at Poly

I am excited to hear responses to this too! Have ADRs in september and am very excited to try this place out based on the menu items!

I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and it's always very good. Definitely suggest you try it.

I've eaten lunch there, and really enjoyed it! We all got the polynesian plate lunch. It comes with either teriyaki steak with a fruit salsa on it or chicken with peanut sauce. It came with sticky rice and macaroni salad with a little spice to it. It was so good!! We will definitely go back. Oh and try the Sticky wings:love:

It's DH's favorite place for dinner (well tied with Le Cellier, but still Fave!). The sticky chicken wings are YUM!!

We love Kona! We think it is one of the best lunches on property. I love the pot stickers. DH loves the tuna from the dinner menu, and the banana creme brulee. DH is insistent that we eat there again on our next trip.

We have 3 must do restaurants on every trip and Kona is one of them! Most recently we had a great meal there. I had the pomegranat pork chop which was delicious and DH had the scallops and shrimp which he has had before and loved it.

While it's in a "busy" and open location, we've always had great service and great meals here and it is much calmer than Ohana.

Kona dinner is our one must for any trip. On a recent 3 night trip we ate dinner there twice - to us, it's that good!

Excellent experience for us. Mmmmm... Tuna Oscar...

we LOVE it! We'll be eating there again in 9 days for dinner!! can't wait!
I highly reccomend the teriyaki strip

We did breakfast and dinner there in May and I even made an adr for dinner again for our Dec. trip.

The bread they serve is great. We had the sticky wings. huge portion and dh had the terriyaki steak and I had the ginger crusted rib eye. We shared/fought over the banana creme brule. Next time we are both ordering our own.

Love it there.

My husband and I like it a lot - he more so than me. The potstickers are really good (appetizer). I like the salad with the beef on it.

In our experience, Kona for dinner is a diamond in the rough. I think a lot of people poo poo it because it's just a "cafe", but we have had some of the best dinners at Disney at Kona.

I love Kona Cafe for all meals, but especially for dinner because it serves the wonderful bread loaf with macadamia nut butter. Guests likely overlook Kona because it does not offer any entertainment or particular theme, but the food ranks among the best on property for restaurants in Kona's price range.

I particularly recommend the sticky wings and the tuna Oscar. All the desserts are fabulous.

We've only been to Kona for lunch and we love it. I always get the chicken with peanut sauce- mmm!

DD is a picky eater. What is "sticky rice"?
