We've never eaten at Kona and want to try it during our next trip. This is a poll for all of those Dis'ers who've eaten BOTH meals there. Should we do breakfast (tonga toast) or dinner?

I would do both! We did last week and were not disappointed either time. The Coconut Chicken at dinner was fantastic, and the Tonga Toast for Breakfast lived up to the high expectations I had. Kona is a real hidden gem IMO.

I haven't had breakfast but have had lunch and dinner - both very good. plus as pp said the desserts!!!!

I chose breakfast, only because it's my favorite meal to have there. We also have dinner there each trip. You really can't go wrong either way.

We ate there for both breakfast and dinner on our last trip and we both preferred dinner. Honestly, the sweet bread, honey-macadamia nut butter and sushi bar would be enough reason for me.

We always try to schedule at least one breakfast and lunch at Kona (love the wings too), and then we make certain to hit the Kona Island Sushi Bar for dinner & deserts one or two evenings. You really can't go wrong with whatever time of day you choose to dine there.

Best TS breakfast on property, in our opinions. The press Pot of Kona Coffee alone is almost worth the visit in and of itself. Kona Cafe offers Tonga Toast, those delicious Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes, traditional breakfast fare, and if you want to go with a lighter/healthier option...

the fresh fruits and breads plate is wonderful also!

We do both! Dinner is very good then we go watch the MK fireworks on the beach.
Breakfast we do after a late night at the MK, sleep in and have a late 10am breakfast.

Wow - that fruit plate looks awesome, I know what I will be having for breakfast on October25! Thanks for sharing the picture

I voted breakfast, it is far and away the best meal at Kona - one of the best breakfasts on property!

We used to schedule breakfast AND lunch every single trip, but lately, the lunch fare hasn't been quite as good.

This is one restaurant that is does not matter which meal you get. Kona is very good. Would eat any meal there anytime. :thumbsup2
