Komen Scrapbooking...Crop 4 the Cure!

I am getting super excited! I just got the dates for Crop for the Cure in Evansville! I went for the first time last year and was able to really get started on my son's scrapbook. It was a 12 hour event, I stayed for about 8. My donation of $30 included yummy snacks and drinks all day, as well as lunch and dinner. There were door prize drawings every hour, a great goodie bag, yard sale, and free make-n-takes! They also had $1/min massages. It was a blast! And a day just for me!

So I am planning on going to C4C March 13, my birthday is March 7, and having a me day!!!

Do any of you go to a scrapping event?

That would be awesome, but I don't see any scrapping events near me anytime soon. I'll have to keep an eye on the Komen website.

That sounds like a lot of fun! My MIL was diagnosed on Sept. 11th. She is has one more round of chemo and has done great! I will have to share this with my SILs.

What a great cause! Our local CMC's sometimes host a crop in October in memory of another local CMC who passed away from breast cancer, but haven't heard of the C4C around here. I need to go look.

I'm glad you got to start on Levi's book. How much have you gotten done?

These events can be hard to find. A friend invited me last year, I had never heard of it! Good luck finding one!!!

Hey Buffy! Sometimes they are called other things and even last a whole weekend. One in MO was called Think Pink. I have about 2- 3 pages to finish! I have enjoyed every moment, even if it did take me that long to get started.

I'm partial to March 7, too. I think on the actual day I am going to go see the new Alice movie!
