Kohls Cash questions

After spending quite a bit online at Kohls, I have some Kohls Cash to spend. I added $50 worth of stuff to my cart and it showed free shipping. However, once I added my Kohls Cash, the free shipping went away. Does the $50 for free shipping have to be my out of pocket expense? If so, that kind of defeats the purpose of me making a purchase.

You should still get the free shipping. I used my Kohls cash on Tuesday and only spent $3 out of pocket and got the free shipping.

It's still not working. On the first page where you choose the shipping, it shows it as $0.00. As soon as I turn to the next page where you enter credit card info & Kohls cash, it shows $8.95 shipping. Since that's the shipping cost of items over $50, it obviously recognizes that I'm spending over $50. Why can't I get the shipping?!? I love the convenience of online shopping, but sometimes I spend so much time searching for the right promo codes & best deals that I think it would've been easier to just run to the store.

I don't know for sure but I know at store Cash is treated as a coupon so I'm wondering if your total purchase would be over 50.00 after taking off k. cash if free shipping would kick in.

I had the same results. I added more to my order rather than pay the shipping.

Sounds like it does have to be out of pocket $50.

I used mine earlier this week when they offered free shipping on everything after that I believe you have to have $50 out of pocket.

I thought this would help.Same thing happened to me black friday and I was charged the shipping. When I asked them about it here is what they said:

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding free shipping. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you with your concern.

The free shipping promotion was valid on orders with merchandise totals of $50 or more. Your eligibility was determined after all discounts, Kohl's Cash and promo codes were applied, and before tax was calculated. Your subtotal was $57.97; however, your discounts, Kohl's Cash, and promo codes brought your total down to $49.27, which is below the required amount to qualify for the free shipping. As a customer courtesy, I will adjust your shipping charge. Please allow 10-14 business days for the credit to post on your Kohl's Charge account. I apologize for any confusion this promotion may have caused.

Thanks everyone! I was purchasing a scooter, but had added perfume to hit the $50. Well, I had $45 in Kohls Cash, so it added shipping. I realized that I didn't really need the perfume (I was just trying to get the total to $50). I was able to buy the scooter and have the shipping covered with my Kohls Cash. Yeah for a free Christmas gift!
