Hope you feel better. My 66 year old father has the flu. Any my step mother is in the hospital getting an angiogram. :sad2:

Get well soon.

I LOVED the shoes part! :teeth: Followed closely with the purses part!

I hope you feel better soon...and I can totally relate to the fear of the unknown, it's the worst! :sad2:

hope u feel better.

I hope you're feeling better soon!

30 days wooohoooo :yay:

And get better soon Angela

Get well soon. Will be interested to know whether you made the trip or not....

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: Dancing with you....:woohoo:

Call from church.....:thumbsup2

Yep. I'm checking in from my IL's. Everyone else is napping. I have been sick for the past few days, but I poop out at about 4:30....I basically have dinner and got o bed. I'm FUN to be around.

Thanks for the well-wishes. :grouphug: I have had a problem with an opportunistic virus that I get when my stress leveld get too high for YEARS (More than 12). It can affect my tonsils, larynx, eyes, ears, throat, sinuses, and/or lungs. The doctors KNOW about this, and have NO IDEA why I get it. :headache:

This time was tonsils, throat, larynx, and sinuses. Fortunately not my eyes or ears this time. I GET really sick, when it's them.

This is another reason they think I have Lupus.....(that's the latest thing I am being tested for...it fts with all of my issues,a dn the neuropathy....please hope with me that it's NOT this)

Gee, move an office and lose internet for a couple of days, and look what you miss...

Let's see...

30 day dance!!! Woo hoo!! :cool1:

(And we know you like those dancing bananas, so I'll throw some in...)

Love the travel size toiletry loot. I know I grabbed the tiny All - and didn't use it. I already had one of those tiny Band-aid things in my purse, believe it or not! And one of the advantages of living in suburbia is that I have access to multiple Targets *and* Walmarts! Scary, isn't it...

Stressful about the whole job thing. I survived a layoff once. It was really weird - we had 11 temps in our department, including me, and they were supposed to layoff all the temps and keep all the permanent people. But, there were a few temps they wanted to keep, so they called us the night before to tell us to stay home that day. *But* - I was at my bf's apartment, and didn't check my messages, so I went in to work that day! They tried to hide me out of sight when they laid off the 3 permanent people, so they wouldn't be mad at me. It was truly bizarre.

And, it sounds like HHBG is in better shape than one of dh's friends, who recently got laid off. They are holding his last paycheck until he signs a non-compete clause that wasn't in his original contract, and the only severence he is getting is one month of paid COBRA!!! And this is a job he's had for over 10 years!!!

Good luck to HHBG on the job hunt, if it becomes necessary...(or even if it isn't, lol - maybe he can find something better!)

That IS bizarre....

Oh, and I think it's illegal to try to get him to sign a non-compete AFTER firing him, and to hold his check as blackmail. I would NOT sign, and then I would get a lawyer. THey are trying to keep him from getting another job.

When we get home, HHBG may be flyign to Chicago for an interview...:confused3

This is coming from a Ministers Kid! :lmao:

...but it is Bistro de Paris ADRs she's talking about.......;)

You guys crack me up. I am probably calling tomorrow afternoon. I tried to sneak it in today, but the Cm was mean to me. :sad1: She said I can't count. I can count, I just tried to sneak it in. She needs a happy pill....I bet I can spare some....

2.5 Billion. Send the check to me.

He is a Sargent in Armed Security (NOT A guard!) for a Submarine Contractor. Hes certified in:
HazMat
Confined Spaces Recovery
EMT-C
Has the highest Security Clearance under the President
Escorts and Meet and greets with Senators ex-presidents and Governors.

SWEET! Does he know about area 51?? He can tell me. I'll keep it quiet....honest. :rotfl2:

my OTHER BIL (not the twin) works for sone company whose name I forget, making Rockets and other things that go into space. He worked on the latest Hubble fix. He's a great rocket scientist, but can be prettty absent minded and literal....so it cracks me up when people say "it doesn't take a rocket scientist to...." because BIL would have been confused by it, too. :rotfl2:

But he has no security clearance....FIL used to be military intelligence, so he has had high security clearance, but he's a civilian contractor now.

Hey Dude! Hope you get better soon, and all the work issues get worked out soon. How are the kids doing and their Grandparents? I hope they are having fun with each other.
Mean CM. YUK. Call tomorrow after church. :thumbsup2

It almost sounds like your BIL has Aspergers. :confused3
They are pretty much geniuses but cant figure out the simlest things and have a hard time socializing.
My 14 yo has it..

HHBG and I have talked about this. We DO think BIL has mild asperger's. (HBG is positive about it, but doesn't feel it would be a good idea o bring it up to him at this point. He's doing OK, so we just let it be)

We also think it runs in the family, and that may be what is going on with Spencer, too. The kid is a genius. He can already add and subtract, and figured out division after THREE examples....yet he can't figure out how to use his fork or zipper his jacket (Or keep his #$%&* thumb out of his mouth). :headache: I have an appointment for him with the Dr. for 2 weeks from now, and we are going to get him an independant test (independant from the schools). If he come us with a DX, we will figure things out from there.

ETA: the kids are doing well except for one thing....read below...

The kids LOVE their grandparents, and are having a great time. We are spending ALL day at the church tomorrow for all of the activities they have planned. I even pulled out the SUPER FANCY outfit.

BUT...

Spencer ran into the wall clock and put a huge hole into his forehead. We put bandages on it, but it's pretty yucky. I swear, we held him, hugged him, got the bleeding under control, got a bandaid on it, and he immediately started running again and barely missed RE-HITTING his frigging head again five minutes later. Kid doesn't learn...:sad2:

That's gonna look great in pictures.

This is the same kid who ran head first into a door jam 2 years ago in AZ
who tripped and chipped a tooth on a coffee table in FL 3 years ago
who skinned BOTH knees and Elbows and his FOREHEAD on Picture day in front of his school last year....
who missed when getting off of dumbo and landed on his face on the platform and got a bloody nose (he was with Daddy! Bad daddy! lol)
Who bent over last month and cracked his head on a bookshelf at school...
Who tripped in Epcot and skinned both of his knees and one hand....
WHo has had FOUR CT scans and his mommy checked out by CPS because he likes to crack his head on things....
ETC. ETC. ETC.

And HHBG wondered why I bought MULTIPLE travel first aid kits....:sad2:

Dude.

I dont really think theres anything that can be done with Aspergers. Sam is in a resource room at the H.S He is very lazy so needs extra help and reminders, he stiil sucks his thumb in H.S! There comes a time where you just let them be themselves, (when they are much older) Sam is growing out of alot. except the constant thumb sucking!!

Linnie could talk about this for hours. MB can finally zip his jacket. He's also talking more.

Dude what?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I must steal this smiley....

First aid kits=Gud.

:scared1: :scared1: Poor Spencer (and you!).

He's such a klutz. :sad2: He was loving all of the attention at church this morning...

Hope you feel better!

Thanks!

Yeah, tht's why we're planning on independent evaluation. I don't want him labeled in school, since they have already tried pinning things on him, and he's at the Gifted school, and I worry they would try to pull him out to the special needs school, and that would be bad for him. We're really working with him, but trying to not overly push him. The thumb is kicking our butts though. :headache: His teeth are SOOOOOOOOO bad.

    to both of you guys for daling with special kids...I'm not positive yet, but I thin he is too. Even if he isn't, it's TOUGH!

ADR CHANGES! Probably the final ones.

Yes, unlike Jordan, I only change my ADRs a FEW times per planning session. :rotfl2:

So, we changed our lunch on Monday from Marrakesh to Chefs De France (WE LOOOVE French Food!!)

And

We got Bistro on Tuesday for 7pm instead of Chefs...HHBG and I were BOTH bummed about missing out on Chefs, hence the lunch change above. (I called this morning before church...:rolleyes1 )

When I get home, maybe I'll be cliche and post pics of our luggage. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the reviews from your last trip... good to know... I am back and forth ons ome and yours give me some insight into them... :thumbsup2

Hi and Happy Easter!!! Just joined your ptr and am loving it. Your children are adorable. Your shoe porn is great. I suffer from the same addiction and work in the worst possible place, which just adds to it. Maybe when I finally start my ptr, I'll post pics of my shoes :lmao:

Hope you haven't got Lupus Angela and they find out what's causing all your symptoms soon

Poor Spencer he reall is clumsy isn't he, BTW my 9 nearly 10 y/o DD still sucks her fingers and will not stop  She's very bright and we've even tried bribes but nothing :headache:

Ok, two notes:

One kudos on the Bistro. You'll love it!!
