Angela, I'm glad to hear that your DH will at least get his entire severence package. I'm sure that's a relief, even if he does get laid off. He'll have some income to be able to live on while job searching. My DH worked for a long time as a contractor, so when the company he worked for decided that they didn't need him anymore, he was gone with no more income! It caught us off guard quite a few times. I'm just glad he's got a good position with a good company now. No more paying for our own insurance and paying all that self-employment tax!

Yeah, he'll get 3 weeks for every year, since he's been there for more than 10 years, if he gets fired, and the bonuses they reported int he news are the truth, so we might get a SMALL bonus if he gets fired. If he still has a job, I will be thrilled. he's interviewing, though, JUST IN CASE.
We would be living with Steve parents if somthing happened with Steve. We live paycheck to paycheck.
Luckily the Govmt keeps ordering more Submarines!!

I'm sorry to hear about the stress you are going through. I don't know much about the whole ordeal, but from what I gather it's a sticky situation.
I hope your DH gets to keep his job, and all goes well. Or, if he doesn't, that it becomes a blessing in disguise for your family.
