Wondering what kind of clothes you'll need on your off season visit to Disney??
Check www.accuweather.com , they supply 15 day advance weather so when you get within 15 days of your trip check Orlando, FL on Accuweather and you'll know if you need to pack your bathing suit or sweaters, sun tan lotion or rain poncos! Weather CAN change but at least it gives you a very good idea of the kind of weather you'll have on your trip. ........... It's an awesome planning tool so I thought I'd share! I'm going and my 1st day there will be on November 15th. My travel day and 1st day at WDW will be sunny in the low 70s. ........... AWESOME!!!

Better check again! I just checked and our first day in parks is 11/15 also! Now they are saying rain! Course that will change again. Temps look good for our week.

HOWEVER, I checked 11/14 for Kansas City. We are driving 3.5 hours and staying overnight, then flying out of KC. They are saying freezing rain/ice :scared1: That can't be good. I HOPE things change and we can get there and fly out all right. It's 10 days out, it can't be too accurate, right? ;)

Nice!

Thanks! I'll be sure to take a look at this the day I start packing (probably the 18th or 19th being that I have to pack for both myself and hubby and our 1 year old son...boy his room will be loaded with luggage while I pack).

Yep rain on the 15th now and in the 80s. The forecast seems to change twice a day! :rolleyes1 I live in New Hampshire and don't tend to trust the weather forecast unless it's for the NEXT day! For me ... following the long range forecast before a trip is part of my pre-trip countdown! I believe it gives you a very good GUESS what you will have for weather conditions so in a way helps you to plan and pack, BUT in late fall, winter and early spring you need to be ready for all types of weather in Orlando. INCLUDING frost!!! (Not this trip god willing!) Still ........... the long range starting November 15th looks pretty good with only rain on my "travel day!" :thumbsup2 As long as it's dry i'll be happy! ACTUALLY ... as long as i'm THERE I'll be happy! :cool1:

My family has 9 days to wait not counting today (we never count today) so we're in the single digits! ... WDW here we come!! :woohoo:

The freezing rain/ice/snow has been moved off of our drive to airport day, hooray! Accuweather can just leave it like that now, thanks! :lmao:

I'll be there 11/15 - 11/22 too. Keeping my fingers crossed for mid-70's and no rain!! :woohoo:

Thanks! We go the 14th and they must change this stuff often though cause now it's got this and it's about 11pm here, or midnight in Orlando:

Friday, Nov 14
High: 81 °F RealFeel®: 87 °F
Periods of rain

Saturday, Nov 15
High: 77 °F RealFeel®: 75 °F
Less humid with sunshine and patchy clouds

And, mon and tue the next week are looking too chilly at 67 and 68, dang it!

Anyway, I'm hoping the rains stay away and the air warms up a bit on those chilly day! :goodvibes

I've been watching it since day 15 and the forecast changes Twice a day! :-) ........ Still it's fun to watch ... part of the count down. My wife and I will be there on the 15th ... a week from this Saturday. I CAN'T WAIT!! And right now the long range forecast looks pretty good. A little cool (low 70s and high 60s during the day) but for the most part dry. I'll take dry and cool (confortable) over hot and wet anyday! :-)

70s and 60s isn't swimming weather but it's awesome park touring weather.

Yeah, 70's is great, but wouldn't mind a bit more balmy weather for the nights would be great, especially, if trying to sit out at the resort for a late cs dinner or just relax at CBR's patio outback of OPR. I will definitely have to keep an eye out on this weather business, lol! :goodvibes

Okay, just gotta point out that now, not much rain mentioned at all, :yay: , and good temps for the weekend, and slightly warmer temps mentioned for the ones noted as cooler yesterday, so all in all a great 10 days follows nov 14! Of course, obviously, it will change by the next time I check it but at least right now I'm happy about the weather! :goodvibes

Yeah, it's looking really good now! The only day with rain is our arrival day, the 15th, and we will be at DTD in the afternoon. Shouldn't be a problem there.

Even my Kansas City forecast is greatly improved! The overnight we spend there is now dry and above freezing! :cheer2:

We packed today!

I'm not sure if this helps at all but I have found that Orlando and Houston weather are very similar (I live in Houston). For the last several weeks, our forecasts have been almost identical, so I have been paying close attention to how each day feels so I will know how to dress in two weeks at WDW. Basically, the morning feels chilly (definitely want long sleeves), the afternoon is beautiful, shorts/jeans and short sleeves are appropriate, and the night puts you back to at least long sleeves, if not pants, too. I really think layers is the only way to go, unless you know you will want to head back to the room to change. If you are from a northern state, it will probably feel quite warm to you in the day (that is how I felt when I would visit Houston but lived in Indiana). If you are like me now and are used to the hot, you will probably find it quite chilly in the morning and at night. Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

Well just an update ... looks like the weather took a change for the COOLER by the end of the week starting on November 15th. Mid 60's by the end of the week rather than mid 70s. ......... Bummer! Oh well ... at least it still looks dry! And a cool dry day at WDW is better then a warm day just about anyplace else! :-) Better pack the long pants and sweat shirts! Probably not a lot of need for a swim suit ... but i'd bring one anyway ... you never know!

Arrrghgh!! But as quick as it changed for the cooler it could change back to a bit warmer by next week so lets hope so! It was a bit chilly, okay, freezing last year on our last park day last year and very windy, so hoping for a bit warmer this year and there's plenty of time for it all to change, right? pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Very true ... let's cross our fingers we see a 10 degree change in the warm direction. ............. But as i said ... as long as it's not COLD (Lower than 60s during the day) and it stays DRY i'll be a very happy Disney guy! ;) :cool1:

Yes, DRY is definitely the first order of importance, than warmer! Not hot, definitely not humid, hate that, but too cold is not good either. Don't mind sweatshirt weather, but was freezing last year the one day, so not that either. I'm not hard to please, just want what I want when I want it! ;) And, basically, I just want perfect weather, that's all, not too much to ask, right? :lmao: Oh well, I'm not too worried, generally we usually have pretty good comfortable temps with no real rain to speak of!

Okay, wait! I just went look right now and I just may be very sad. :sad1: They are calling for a rainy Thurs and I have MVMCP tickets for that day! I will be so sad if the Xmas party is rained out that night, with the Xmas parade and the fireworks, we love that! :sad2: Boy, we really need some pixie dust now!!

Yeah just saw that ... it's crazy how fast the forecast is changing! I would love the be a weatherman. (weather person) You can be wrong all the time and still keep your job! ;) Hopefully that forecast will change for the better. I'm in the north east US and it's about 3:35 AM. (I'm in my office, work 3rd shift) Accuweather tends to add the next day somewhere around 4 AM ... I'll be watching! I'm sure it WILL change! :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2

:rotfl: Man i can't believe this ... check the 10 day forecast on weatherchannel.com. It has warmer temps than accuweather.com and no rain on Thursday the 20th! ;) It's nice when you can PICK the weather you want! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Wow! Okay, I pick weatherchannel forecast!! That looks pretty much perfect!! :lmao:

The accuweather forecast reminds of that game with the flower, he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me,.... Just have to hope that last forecast we see has warm, no rain, and not cool, with rain!

Okay, I'm up later cause I usually stay up late, get up late! :rotfl: Well, except the two days I go into work early at 10 am, lol, rather than later at 3pm! But, this is way too late now, but I find it hard to get off the dis sometimes. It's just me and DD18 and she thinks I'm crazy staying up this late here, oh well. I'll be checking in again when I get up to see the latest weather guys trying to mess with my plans! But hey, thanks for that update, definitely made me feel lots better and I'm gonna pick weatherchannel as most accurate, lol! Hopefully they appreciate that and go along with what we want! ;)
