For those traveling in October, here are some details for the 29th Annual Halloween Haunt. This will be my first as a guest. Looks like quite a scare this year! Fridays, Saturdays, and Halloween week sell-out, so get your tickets early.

Use caution when bringing the little ones during non-Haunt times during the month of October. There's pretty scary stuff even in daylight.

<font color=navy>We were there last year on Friday the 13th, during a full moon! It was so cool, and lots of fun.

I recommend that anyone going bypass the long lines for the rides and concentrate on the mazes, and other fun scary stuff planned. When the park opened, we headed straight for Ghost Rider (awesome wooden rollercoaster), and only waited 20 minutes. After that, we explored the rest of the park.

We still laugh at the memory of a group of teenage boys running away screaming from a ghostly bride. ;)

We went for the first time ever on 10/18. We had a blast. This is a really neat sidetrip for visits to DLR during the month of October. The entertainment and mazes were all very good. The Log Ride and Mine Ride were also redone very well. My wife was terrified! I'll even admit that they gave me a few good scares. :D

So if you are in the neighborhood and like the Halloween sorts of things, this is a great time to visit Knott's.

You guys are WAAAAY braver than me! :D I have vivid memories of going to neighborhood Haunted Houses as a teen, and I think that gave me enough creeps and scares for life. I've seen local news stories on folks trying out to be "ghouls" for the event and have seen the make-up and costuming...definitely scary! Glad you brave ones enjoy it though! :)
