KMart Return Policy

Anybody know how strict Kmart is on their return policy? I have my receipts for some toys I bought over the summer. The receipts "expired" or whatever last week. Are they going to give me a hard time about returning stuff or not?

My Kmart refused to take 2 shirts back with tags, the receipt had expired 2 or 3 weeks prior. They still carried the same shirts in the store. I bought a few things and then DM went into the hospital and i lost 3 months of my everyday routine and when i got things back in order i found out the shirts didnt fit me. I just passed them on to someone that really needed them and chalked it up.

I think you can return w/o a receipt for store credit but I don't know if it is limited like at Target. But I've seen people return w/o a receipt there, they ask for id so they do probably track it.

I asked about returning the shirts w/out a receipt, i was told they would just look up the info on what i used for payment. if i paid cash i was out of luck.
good luck, im sure each store is different if you get the right person.
