We think the landings of the kites on the bleachers are great and are part of the entertainment.

Completely agree. "Controlled" Chaos is fun to watch. We've seen both shows and while they are not great, they are fun to watch.

I will miss the performers dancing in the stands.

We saw it twice and really enjoyed it- it was a nice break. The live performers really helped push it over the top, perhaps because live performances were pretty much missing everywhere else.

Rivers of Light was never the same (and much worse) after they removed the performers.

Will Disney ever learn?

It was never good to begin with, but would agree, it was worse after they removed the performers.
