KitchenAid Stand Mixer?

i was lucky enough to get mine for 90$ BRAND NEW! Lowes had wrong price in there sales add and they honored it!

Thanks for all the new info! I will definitely consider the 2nd bowl & check on the pasta requirements. And, I just assumed a refurb was a used & returned mixer. I'm the crazy gal who takes her own sheets/pillows/blankets to hotels & I spend about an hour sanitizing EVERYTHING before I let my family in the room. Yes, everyone calls me a germ freak, but the thought of buying a used mixer kinda grossed me out! I wonder if you can find out the circumstances behind a used one.

So, has anyone heard of the site I mentioned yesterday? Everyday Kitchens I think?? I looked all over town today & Kohl's was the ONLY store who had exactly what I wanted. If I had opened a CC account w/ them, I could've saved up to 30% off total ticket (like a pp mentioned.) We just use cash/debit for everything. CC's are way too tempting to me--I hate to get all that started!

What about ebay? I haven't even checked there, but I wonder if there's a reputable store on there with reasonable prices? Anyway, I HAVE to get to bed! I was up 1/2 the night last night looking up mixers. Thank you to everyone who has offered advice & opinions.

Regarding Kohl's. If you like to shop there the CC is worth it. You get so many coupons and I save a ton. My neighbor just got the CC, they are a cash family too, she charges to get the % off and then immediately pays the balance in cash. Best of both worlds, she uses cash but she gets to save and extra 15%, 20% or even 30%. Another benefit to Kohl's they take things back no questions.

If it is what you want, you can see it touch it and the price is good, I say buy the one with no shipping at Kohl's.

LOVE my Mixer!!!!

Have you checked Bed Bath and Beyond? You can use their 20% off coupons on it too!

I would recommend a second bowl too!

Good luck!

Okay, I broke down & got a Kohl's card! Thanks for the advice KT27 & BuzzPrincess! My Pro 600 was $303 after 30% off + tax. I haven't used it yet, but it sure looks great in my kitchen! :rotfl: Thank you ALL for helping me with this.

I basically only use the card when the 30% codes come out, then i go ahead to bill pay and pay it off. Its so worth it! Enjoy!!!

Yes, that's the plan....:thumbsup2 We were going to immediately close the acct, but we decided the 30% codes you guys mentioned were just way too good to give up.

We bought mine at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon when Kitchenaid was offering a free attachment with purchase. Plus Bed Bath has a great return policy. We had a problem with mine about 6 months later. They exchanged it no problems.

Ooooh...what was the problem? Was it a Pro 600?? Kitchenaid is offering a free ice cream maker attachment through the 30th. (That's why I was in such a hurry to buy it!)
