Looking at the 4.5 or 5 quart for my mom for xmas, any good deals?

I just got the 5.5 quart Kitchenaid Mixer from Costco. It was normally $299 but they had it on sale for $249. I was also able to get a $30 rebate on top of that. So I thought that was a great deal. I love the mixer!

I've had both a 4.5 and a 5. Bigger IS better in this case. I got the 4.5 as a wedding present in 1990 - I "traded up" to a 5 qt about 4 years ago.

Kohls had the best deal at 119.00 for 4.5, but they sold out. I bought mine at Target yesterday for 200.00 (online), but that went up to 249.99 today. However, I found a gray one at TJ Maxx for 199.99. Check your TJ Maxx!

I got my Artisan from Everythingkitchen. It is the 5 quart one. It was 265 and then I found an online coupon for $10.00 so I got it for 245. It was my early Christmas present so I could use it for Thanksgiving.

JCPenney has the ARtisan for 299.99 with 20% off if you use their credit card plus the $30 rebate, but thats not until wed or thurs, so I think Im going to go for that one!
