Kitchenaid Convection Microwave Oven

We just bought a Convection Microwave Oven (over the stove) last night and it will be delivered tomorrow. It is replacing a regular microwave so I’ve never used a Convection Microwave and don’t know anything about them.

For those that have one, do you like it? Do you prefer it over a regular microwave? Does it cook differently then a regular microwave and do you find yourself using it differently then a regular microwave.

We have 30 days to decide if we like it.

I've had mine a long time and experimented a little with it in the beginning. Not impressed with pillsbury type rolls or cookies and can't remember what else we tried. I'm interested in hearing what others have to say since I'm sure I'm under utilizing it.


The only thing I always cook convection now is baked potatoes. They turn out just like oven baked potatoes in a much shorter time.
