Kissing Mickey's nose?

When we were there in January at the Character Spot in Epcot there was a CM sanitizing the noses after every meeting. I was pleased because my DD and DS both like to kiss their noses! :goodvibes

I would never put my mouth on something that dirty. There have been so many hands and mouths on that thing, yuck. Good luck with not getting sick.

My 17- and 20-year-olds posed with each kissing one of Sorceror Mickey's cheeks. I ended up not ordering the picture because it wasn't as cute as it could have been (they were too turned away from the camera) but it was very cute in person. Will have to try that again.

I saw my older daughter talking to the handler so she must have asked permission first.

At 1900 Park Fare my 4 yr old daughter ask to kiss Prince Charming(on the cheek) when he said "sure" and lean down she chicken out so he turn and said I will "sneak one then" and kissed her on the check! It was so cute and I thought she was going to pass out because she is so in "LOVE" with him...rest of the afternoon she would touch her kissed check and just smile at us.

I have typed this story so many times but it seems fitting here again.

When DD11 was 9 months old we were at the old Donald's Breakfastasaurus. Pluto came over to our table, leaned over to her and she reached out and grabbed his tongue, she was teeting terrible and started teeting on it. I always say a good mom would have stopped her and washed her mouth out for germs but clearly I am not a good mom cause I grabbed the camera and DH grabbed the video camera and recorded the whole thing. I think Pluto stood there for a couple minutes letting her as the "handler" with him was cracking up. It is to this day my avorite Disney memory and favorite photo. We plan on having it made into a blanket for her when she goes off to college. She cried when he waled away so right after breakfast DH went and bought her a small stuffed Pluto which she still sleeps with every night and the tongue on it is pretty well chewed. She has gottne many stuffed Plutos over the years but that one is still her favorite and she takes it with her on every sleepover, vacation, everything. She did also try at Garden Grill to get Mickey's nose but couldn't get her teeth into him  and Chef Mickey she wanted Pluto but he didn't come close enough or she probably would have again.

Oh, and she never got sick. The only time any of my kids got "sick" were DD8 when she was 4 had an allergic reaction to Ariel's kiss. Her cheek swelled up like nothing we had ever seen. Disney was good about giving us the list of what was in the makeup but it wasn't anything too unusual so we never found out why. She accidently got kissed again (me not paying good enough attention) when she was 6 and had no problem so who knows???

personally, i'm at a loss to understand how the human race (or any species for that matter) managed to not be wiped out eons before hand sanitizer was invented.

if anything, i'd rather contract the plague than smell most of that stuff which seems to think the pungent overpowering smell of apple-scented shampoo is what kills germs.

but I digress.

but to keep it on topic, please feel free to kiss mickey's nose. as long as it's through a sheet of saran wrap.

What a sweet story! I probably would have been on :cloud9: at that age too!

Characters like to see photos of themselves as well. My son had an autograph book with a picture of each character on the signature page.

Terk was so excited to see herself that she showed it to everyone, Daisy gave him a big hug but my favorite was Donald. Donald started jumping around, "raising the roof" and made such a big deal. My DS had the biggest smile on his face!

I have the cutest photo of my 18 month old nephew grabbing Mickeys nose with both hands and planting one right on him. Precious!!!
Now I have to find it.

I've kissed a few characters in my day...I know...I'm a hussie! ;)

Mickey, Pluto, Goofy to name a few... I like to make my rounds..

and I have contracted any crazy diseases!

Will make a very cute picture..my only suggestion is not to actually come in contact with the nose....if you do, it'll be like kissing everyone else that kissed the nose that day! Sure way to come home with a Disney cold!
