Has anyone seen the Kiss Goodnight lately?I am beginning my vacation Saturday and hope to see it.I understand it is kind of a hit-and-miss thing.Thanks.

I can not get this to show. It keeps giving me an error message.

Any suggestions? When it asks me to Open the file in a particular file, I select "Windows Media Player". What am I doing that is incorrect?

I don't doubt that they have been, but it is not a "scheduld event" on party nights so there is not a listed time to be able to tell someone.

As far as i know Its when the castle changes colour at the end of the night and disney wishes visitors a very good night and a safe journey home

I saw it for the 1st time on Mon 11/28, I was glad I saw it. It was very nice, the castle changes colors, and they play music.

Last time I was there in September, I waited around for it. I knew the schedule but asked a CM about it anyway. The CM said she had no idea what I was talking about and seemed annoyed that I was asking her. She told me people ask her all the time. So, I asked another CM who said they did not know what I was talking about either. I knew there was something so I asked a cleaning person and he first said he did not know about it. A few minutes later came up to me and said "yea I have heard about it". He said he did not know if it was going to happen or not but he would try to find out. He came up to us again and said that his Manager said that if it was going to happen it would happen at 10:00. So, we waited till 10:20 and nothing happened.

Are CM's not allowed to talk about it? Why would they all say they did not know about it?

Honestly and this is really sad to say... They just don't know about it! I was working in MK for 2 years before I ever heard about it (5 years with the company at the time). I was closing the Riverboat and we had just come out into Liberty Square from the boat dock and the other CM that was with me yelled Oh Oh the Kiss Goodnight and went running towards the castle... I went running after him not knowing what exactlly we were running for or to, I just thought he was nuts, only to come across the Kiss Goodnight... If it had not been for him I would never have known about it.

It does seem to be that they don't know about it. When I was there Mon 11/28 I wanted to make sure I caught the Kiss Goodnight, I asked the CM in the jewelry store, he had no idea and I asked the CM at the Confectionary and she had no idea either.

I was at MK last Monday, 12.5.05, and stayed until after the fireworks were over. There was no MVMCP that night so the park closed right after Wishes at 8:00. As far as a 'Goodnight Kiss,' all I saw was CMs with Mickey hands/gloves on holding signs that said "See You Real Soon" as we walked under the Train Station entrance. When we got outside, Mickey was up at the Train Station waving to everyone.

The Kiss Goodnight is done at the Castle. It is color/lighting changes to the castle itself with a little music and a goodnight speil. Kind of like the morning opening speil welcoming you to the park, this is the goodnight version. It is usually a half an hour, 1 hour and 1 hour and a half after park closing (sometimes a little later but that generally is the case). You would really need to be near the castle to realize it is going on.

Gee...all this time and I never actually knew the mane of it. If anyone had askedme I would have to tell them I didn't know and would try to find out. I just called the the castle color changes <lol>

Maybe that's why the CMs didn't know what it was
