I have the Sony Reader Touch Edition and just use a ziploc. I do a lot of reading while taking a bath and haven't had any problems. Yes, there is a little glare, but if I tilt it a little, it's fine.
The Sony also can get books from the library for free, that is why I got it instead of the Kindle.
