Kim's new and improved life journal!

OK guys. Just a short post for now to list my food for yesterday:

B - heart smart oatmeal
S - celery & lite cream cheese
L - LC pannini chicken sandwich
D - pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans (Denny's)
S - 1 bite size Three Musketeers bar :rolleyes:

Not the best dinner, but better than some of the other things I was considering!

water - 80 ounces

Seriously, I must have read your mind, I had a LC chicken pannini too! LOL And I'll probably have a little candy bar (probably butterfinger, but we'll see)

Well guys, wasn't a good day for me.

****warning - female talk ahead :rolleyes: ****

Before I lost my extra weight - my TOM was a mess. Extremely painful, lasted at least 2 weeks...you get my drift. When I lost the weight, it was like a whole new me. I was basically pain-free and it lasted no more than a week. Well, lately it's been getting progressively worse. Today was the worst yet. Looks like I might have to go back to the doctor and talk about the procedure she recommended last year. :guilty:

Sorry for the personal info, but I just thought I'd kinda tell you why my day was so bad. Needless to say, I felt like crap, so I ate like crap. There is no logic behind it, but it helped me feel better in a sad sort of way.

Here's the low down:

B - none
L - Moe's Mexican food (actually didn't plan on messing up my chip challenge today...but afterwards I realized that tortilla chips count as a chip...so another day bites the dust)
D - ham & cheese sandwich, 3/4 cup potato salad

water - 50 ounces

Good news about today is....nothing to worry about at WDW!!!

TOM is not fun, but better in jersey than disney--keep thinking that to help you get through the pain (can you tell im talking from experience?! haha)
Hope you are feeling better..and just think ,its officially sunday (230am! ugh) and you go to disney soo soon...PLEASE just leave so my trip is closer ;)

(I'm only asking because the sooner you leave, the sooner you get back!!)

So I'm ultra jealous of you right now, but i hope you have a GREAT time in WDW!!! Take lots of pics and remember that we need a trip report (hey, I might even finish mine while you are gone).

You've done such a great job with your training and personal goals that you deserve a great vacation. Have fun in Orlando and tell Belle that I said hello ;)

I noticed your thread and read some but just wondering how much you have lost. I just became very disgusted with myself as well and started eating right ,doing the elliptical and running- 4th day now. I need motivation.

Hi Linda! Thanks for stopping by. My total weight loss was 29 pounds. I went from 145 to 116. I am back up to 120 right now, and I'm good with that. At the end of my weight loss (not that it's ever over...but you know what I mean) I think it was more about seeing how far I could actually go. But 116 was not feasible for me. I would have to contine to eat and exercise extremely strictly to maintain that weight. And I wanted to have some fun in life! So I have hung around 120 for the past 4-5 months and it's working out well.

You can TOTALLY do it! I know my journal is long (we tend to get off the "weight loss/healthy lifestyle" track from time to time and just get silly :teeth: , so I don't expect you to read it all. But basically, I started out struggling to complete less than 10 minutes on the eliptical, and now I run anywhere from 3 miles to 5 miles! I'm not great about exercising on a regimented basis, but I do what I can. I have an extremely busy life and not too much help at home since my DH works an insane number of hours. Excuses, excuses.

Anyway, Linda, thanks again for stopping by. Do you have a journal? If not, definitely start one! It's gotten me through a very challenging time in my life, and I've made some awesome friends!

As you might have read, I leave for WDW tomorrow, but I'll be back next week and look forward to "chatting" some more. Take care, and keep on goin, girl!! :cheer2:
 
Jen - YES YES YES YES YES YES - I leave TOMORROW!!! :banana: We finally got a lot of packing done last night and I made a million lists to leave around the house to make sure I don't forget anything tonight when I make the finishing touches. Of course, one list is for the last minute stuff I need at Target :rolleyes: (no run at lunch today, unfortunately).

Scott - WELCOME BACK!! I've missed ya around here! Yes, there will be a trip report. Can't guarantee it will be a great one, but there will be one with pics!! (I've already been trying to come up with some witty way to start off... :rotfl: )
