Hey all! I'm in a funky, blah mood tonight, so I'll make it quick.

B - egg whites with tomatoes
S - 10 wheat crackers w/lite cream cheese
L - Lean Cuisine beef & rice meal
S - apple w/natural peanut butter
D - lowfat chicken wrap
S - a few BAD goodies - but no chips!! :cool1:

water - 100 ounces (I was SO thirsty today)

The walk at lunch didn't happen since Janine and I both needed Halloween costumes for a co-worker's party on Saturday. Tomorrow we are scheduled to work out at her house again...so I'm planning on a run. Then Thursday I have a weigh-in with Nancy. I may walk by myself on Friday, since Janine has other plans.

Soooo.....you can't just post something about getting a Halloween Costume and NOT tell us what you are going to be :teeth: . What's the costume girl? I LOVE Halloween :goodvibes . This is the BIG Halloween weekend around here....brownies halloween party on friday and the big neighborhood halloween festival on saturday plus a halloween movie night. My kids are already on sugar-high without having any candy in them yet!!! :rotfl:

You MUST post pictures btw!!!

I did run again today. Went faster than I ever have on the 'mill for 20 minutes. I'm hoping to have a nice (longer) run this weekend!!

Food for today:

B - 2 scrambled eggs
S - apple w/natural peanut butter
L - 3/4 cup chicken salad w/lite mayo
D - 1/4 ham & cheese sub w/lettuce & tomato, 5 pickle slices

water - 90 ounces

2 nights in a row with chips in my face...and not one in my mouth!!!! :woohoo: Normally I don't even crave chips...but they were seriously calling my name!!!

Weigh-in with Nancy tomorrow!! I'll check back in after that!

Congrats on a couple of successes!! First, the chips....great job! It's hard enough to resist the temptation, but when they are right in your face....now that takes some willpower!! Nice work!

Second, another run!! You go girl! And your fastest run yet on the old 'mill...you are doing great!! Good luck on your weigh in today!

Oh...didn't you love the Sawyer/Kate scenes when she was changing clothes? The next two weeks are gonna be awesome :)

OK....so I weighed in. I was up 1 pound from my weight 6 weeks ago. I'll take it! :thumbsup2 I do believe that during those 6 weeks I was up closer to 5 pounds....so I'm happy that I was able to get some of those off! :teeth: And I know that the running this week helped. I weigh in again on December 7th. Yes, that's only 5 weeks away...BUT it's the day before my birthday!! A little planning ahead just in case I happen to party hard that weekend! :dance3:

I did also sneak in the Halloween store and bought DH I and costumes. Have I mentioned how much I don't like Halloween? :confused3 Yeah, I really don't. But I got him doctor's scrubs and me a nurse's outfit. I'm not sure if there will be pictures taken yet. We'll see... :rolleyes: Maybe once I've had a drink or two... :rolleyes1

Lots of running around tonight...and that's why I finally got home just now and made myself a sandwich. Poor planning on my part. But part of my running around was the grocery store...so no more excuses!! :thumbsup2

Can't wait for tomorrow - FRIDAY....and you know what that means? It's getting closer and closer to TUESDAY!!!! :banana:

WHEW--i am so glad I can finally put a face with a name--its like i have never see nthat kid before in my life ;)

What a cutie pie! Thanks for the pic, I love adorable kids :) They certainly make hard times just a little bit easier (like when you really, really want a cookie)
 
Hi all! Sorry I've been M.I.A. It's been a busy weekend!

Friday - At lunch I went for a 70 minute walk by myself around the base. It was awesome! I felt so good afterwards & the weather was beautiful! :thumbsup2 I don't remember exactly what I ate, but I know I was on plan all day and drank all my water, plus some green tea.

Saturday - Busy day with birthday party, shopping and Halloween party. DH and I had a GREAT time and it was nice to hang with some friends and laugh at each other's costumes! (I'll post a pic once I download them). I ate good up until the party, but all bets were off there. The drinks were a'flowin and the snacks were delish! (chip challenge......WHAT chip challenge? :confused3 ) *cough*subtract one day*cough*

Sunday (today) - Woke up and went for a run (thank you for the extra hour of sleep :thumbsup2 ). I ran for 45 minutes and felt really good. A few times I caught myself in a long, quick stride and I was like WHOA...slow down, lady!! I drove the course later and it was 4.2 miles...so that was definitely one of the quicker runs I've had for that distance! I know getting in those other runs in during the week definitely helped! I walked the 5 minutes back to my house after the run and then did 5 minutes of ab work. I didn't have the S&A workout handy (no, I haven't memorized it like some other people I know), so I did some crunches, side crunches and straight leg lifts.

Food today, not good. But I'll be back on track tomorrow. We're celebrating my mom's birthday tonight, since my family of 4 will be away for her real bday on Nov 8th.

OK, guys....let's all have a GREAT week! As usual, it'll be a busy one...but I'm doin the single digit dance today!! So I can get through ANYTHING this week!! :banana:
 
Hey Kim...take the Walk a Mile in My Shoes out of your siggie....I failed that one a long time ago. I will get on the treadmill in the morning...I PROMISE!!

Your run was incredible!! :thumbsup2 4.2 miles....WOW! You ARE the woman!!!
The party sounded like fun....let's see the pictures NURSE KIMMY!! If I can post a pictures of my short haircut and my fat face....then you can show us your nurses outfit!! Just hope you didn't have to give anyone a sponge bath at the party!!

Well, just as I was about to listen to you....I decided to leave it in there. I think that with you seeing it...it'll get you MOVIN!! :stir: I'll tell you what...I'm planning on another walk at lunch tomorrow, since I'm off on Tuesday. It was great to get out of the office and get all that fresh air!

I definitely think that as long as I keep up with the running, and make it a part of my week a few times...that the runs aren't such a struggle.
