Not reLly a problem, but does anyone else have kids that would rather play in the circus tent than go on the ride? I've been here 45 minutes with my 4 and 6 year ols and they're showing no signs of slowing down! We've had a pretty full day of rides so far so they probably just need this chance to wind down, but I'm curious if this happens to anyone else?

Anyway, I won't complain; they're having a blast and I'm getting a totally guilt free internet break! It just cracks me up when I keep asking if they want to ride as they run by and they keep begging to stay and play.:rotfl2:

My kids were older when I took them - and still they grumbled a little when I got tired of sitting around and told them playtime was up.

Yes! We usually ride early with little to no wait, but then we have to go back just so they can play in the Dumbo area!

My girl who was nearly 6 on our last trip won't ride the ride at all. We just go and play in the dumbo play area and leave when we are done. Like you say, doesn't matter to me!

We bypass it. Maybe my kids are just young, but they had no clue it was even there since I didn't disclose it. They are 5 and 3

DD 9 was the same last year, didn't seem to care about the ride at all just wanted to play. After a half hour I made her move on, though it was a nice rest for the adults. :thumbsup2

DS is 3 and it is the same thing for us. He doesn't want to leave the play area. Once he sees the ride though he is okay.

It really is an awesome space.. Soooo much better than that long, very boring line. Kudos to Dsney for this one - a hit with the younger set!

My 1 year old LOVES it!!! We've been in there for 45+ minutes before, and when line looks long after the merge point we just pass off the pager and leave through the back.

I told my DH that we could have saved a TON of $$$ and just taken them to Chuck E. Cheeses everyday for a week and pay them to turn down the lights! :rotfl:

yes we have the same problem but also when we were there they never paged us so I have to ask and she said oh you can go on the ride whenever... I was a little annoyed. by then there was a big group and then the Dumbo shut down. My kids want to go to WDW to go swimming...

This is how I felt about the Boneyard at AK during our first trip (our kids were almost three and almost five during that trip)! I joked to DH that we should have just taken them to the McDonald's play-land ;)!!

OMG we discovered Boneyard this last trip. DD 3 didn't want to leave!
