Kids Triathalon @ WDW?

So, I just saw a commercial or one of those "3-6-5" info thingys on Disney Channel and it showed footage form a "Healthy Weekend/ Triathalon" event for kids that was held at Epcot & MK and my DS(8) thought that it looked really cool. So, my question is is this something new or has this been going on for a while? Also, is this going to become an annual event like the marathons or apart of the marathon events? Let me know any info would be helpful. TIA
