We have never cruised before and we're thinking of an April 2006 one. We will have two children that might not be potty trained by then . I understand that children who are not potty trained cannot go in the pools even with swim diapers. Has anyone taken small children and we they disappointed that they couldn't swim?

There is 1 of Mickey's ear that is a wading pool for children with swim diapers. On our first cruise 1 of our DD's wasn't potty trained yet & she loved playing in the water with some toys.

The Mickey ear for the non-potty-trained children is more of a "fountain" type area, with continually running water. The little ones seem to love it. I've also heard of people bringing their own inflatable pools, but the special ear should be adequate.
