Kids (no adults) w/ AP

Our kids (7 and 5) have annual passes, but my husband and I do not. We will be traveling to WDW with them this summer, but no other AP holders are going along with us this trip. Typically we travel with my parents and sister, all AP holders, and they will show their AP and ID for the AP discounts on dining and merchandise. As minors, our kids obviously don’t have ID’s. I know we can’t get room discounts with their AP’s, but can kids with AP’s get dining and merchandise AP discounts? We’ve never tried it before!

They should, but they would have to be the ones to pay for the dining/merchandise. Like with a gift card. Or if you are staying on property, have it charged back to the room via their magic bands.
