Anyone do anything like this from their favorite Disney character? How did you do this and what did you include in it? Thanks

Mickey left a box under our Christmas tree, announcing our upcoming Feb. trip. We included a new shirt, sweatshirt, and swimsuit for each DD, plus the maps and planning DVD I got from Disney. I also made a paper countdown chain, and they've had tons of fun with that.

Tinkerbell has visited our house three times since then, leaving small presents (Disney shirts, books and puzzles) to reward the girls for good behavior and build anticipation for the trip.

Tinkerbell will also leave gifts at our resort once we're there. I've got new Princess costumes for the P&P party, disposable cameras, glow sticks, princess necklaces, Disney jammies, binoculars for AK, coloring books, stickers, etc. I also printed invitations from the characters for special meals (Pooh for CP, Cinderella for CRT, and Mickey for CM). A lot of the stuff I got is from Dollar Tree and Target. Those are good places to start if you're just looking for little things.

I wasn't sure what to have for DD for our trip either. I saw a post on the boards that mentioned www.goodypak.com and tried them. They were great!! They sent the package directly to my hotel and included a note from Tinkerbell. My DD was beyond thrilled! I loved it too. They included lots of fun little things that were great to have in the parks. (I didn't know what all to take for DD myself.)

Definite :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 from us! Saved me alot of time and I love that they put DD's name on the bag for us.

Oh, I ordered a pink Parkpack for DD with the princesses on it. It was filled with all kinds of stuff including the cutest autograph book and pen (MUCH cuter that the ones in the parks). I have since ordered from them again (DD is very into High School Musical) and they were just as great with that order too.

Mostly from ebay. :)

I have a boy and a girl.. 6/8
They got a bag filled with: lanyard and pins, a Disney pin with their names on it, autograph book and pen, Epcot passport, pressed penny book, fuzzy Disney posters and markers (Dollar Tree) Disney spinny lights (traded for on Dis) and a few more things I can't seem to remember. I had it in a big red bag in my carry-on and attached a note from Mickey and Minnie. :) When we got to the hotel my DH took the kids to look at the pool. I made up some excuse (needed to run in to check my contact or something?) and raced up to the room and put it on the table. They didn't notice I took the bag with me.. or care.. they were easily distracted and I was only gone a few minutes. Have fun! I LOVED that when we got there they already had everything they would need and didn't ask for a thing when we were there. Most things were a lot cheaper from ebay/trading.

I collected little goodies over time and have either done up a bunch of individual gifts wrapped up in little gift bags for each day or done a big gift basket. I have a duffel bag just for these Tink gifts and I lock it w/a zip tie. At the resort, I store it high in the closet and put one out each night. It is definately easier to do 1 basket than keep track of sneaking out little gifts on a daily basis...but that is more magical. For fun, you can sprinkle a bit of glitter around them! Most items are stuff I would buy to get ready for vacation anyway, but it is more fun to distribute this way and have included:

disposable cameras, hats, sunglasses, bathing suits, pins, Disney beach towels, Disney pajamas, Disney t-shirts, magic washclothes, Disney character figures and plush, light spinners, goggles, beach bag, tattoos, jibbitz etc.

What are magic washclothes?:confused3

Those little cubes that expand in water and open up into a washcloth w/a character on them. Have seen them at The Disney Store and the Dollar Store.

Such great ideas! I did the same thing when we went. I had little treats for each day. The girls thought it was great. I mostly had little things. Stickers, glow sticks, princess fruit snacks, a necklace with bubbles, just little things to make them happy and keep them occupied. :)

we brought glow sticks from the dollar store, disney pins, lanyards for each dd, magic face cloths, pretend sticker earings, temporary tatoos, stickers, pens and autograph books, disposable cameras, binoculars, and a home made disney coloring pages book for each girl with their names on the cover.

We arrived late the first day we were there and when they were asleep tinkerbell left a few things for the girls day the next day. she proceeded to do this the whole trip!

my girls keep asking when tink will visit again now and my littlest (3) sees the sparkles on the snow in the morning and believes that it is Pixie dust from tink and her friends checking in on them! haha

for the build up to the trip we gave the girls t shirts, shorts, dresses and swimsuits for good behaviour, we also made a paper loop countdown calendar. they loved it!

Can I ask where you guys got your light spinners?? I have been looking online and ebay. Can't seem to find any? Anyone?

Thank you Mrs. M Mouse! She was a tiny Tink - that's a Build-A-Bear outfit she's wearing! She's 19 months old now and her newest word is "Rella". We read Cinderella every night! We can't wait to introduce Brenna to "Rella"!

oh my gosh! that's so sweet! My youngest is a total cindy fan!

the spinny light things we got we bought on clearance at our disney store. they were on sale for 50% off the lowest price and we got them for 1.50-3.00 canadian each. my girls still love all of theirs (they have 3 each ha ha)

I too stocked up at the Disney Store on candy pirate swords, Pirate Lumpy Plush, new disney pj's, other trinkets.

We would all head out of the room in the mornings and I would be the last one out and quickly set today's treat out on the table for the kids to see when we got back in the afternoon/evening.

My 4yr old loved it! He wondered how it got there etc. He thinks Mickey delivered it all!

We're going again soon and he recently brought that up. he wondered what Mickey was going to bring him this time :rotfl: He remembered all of it.

He's into pressed pennies so I think I'll buy a penny keeper book there and leave that out. It's sort of like Christmas to come in and see a gift!

I did something I think every morning.

Guess I better get my list together too!

The Disney Store had them on sale last week for $2. It was a stroke of luck but grabbed one for our upcoming trip.
