We may be taking my nieces (21 and 24) to Disney with us on a girls trip and I already told them that each of us will have a Minnie Dot outfit to wear to the magic Kingdom. I think that they thought I was kidding. Won't they be surprised!
I have a few new things done, but my computer is running slower than cold syrup so I don't think that I can get them posted. Hopefully we will get that all worked out soon and I can join back in!
Great to see you again! When are you thinking of going to WDW?
She looks so cute and proud of herself- as she should be!!
I agree, I always forget kids names! I hate to offend by not using them but my mind is very leaky!
Heather, somehow I lost the quote but I love your Cinderella bird! Fantastic, I can't wait to see the whole dress. As I was looking at the page Grace saw the bird and says, hey, that's from Cinderella. Of course she also wanted everything she saw too!
I don't think anyone will be offended if you don't remember names! I know I don't! Thanks for the compliment on the bird. I think the biggest compliment so far is from Grace when she recognized it as a bird from Cinderella!
Started ironing and planning outfits today, adn got overwhelmed by the basement chaos. Anyone want to come over and help me clean? I'll pay in fabric.
And my name and all kids names and ages are in my siggie. Just for yous guys.
To answer your first question...NO!
I have always liked your siggie!
I haven't posted on here in a long time. I've mostly bought stuff and hand sewn a few things but DH got me the Brother Disney machine for Christmas! I've been having fun with it and will hopefully get to finish a few things this weekend.
Just wanted to give a heads up - I was at Meijer tonight and they have a clearance section on the endcap at the back of the sewing/yarn aisle. They had elastic thread marked down to .68 and then it ended up scanning at .44. I think I'm going to try shirring this weekend.
Thanks for the Meijer info. I thought you must live fairly close after reading your Meijer reference!
We almost always go to disney WORLD in May and i actually thought we would be there when you guys were, but then I decided to go the other route, we are going to the world in Sept for a week, bounceback from last year.
What-EVER...
I am in love with this dress!! It reminds me of Tessa's baby quilt that my Grandma made. So pretty!
Excellent job on the appliques!! BTW where did you get the cute black fabric with the white little flowers? Nana
Sorry if someone already answered you, but I've seen this fabric at
WalMart for $2/yard. It was on clearance the last I saw it, though. I bought some of the fabric in this line for one of Tessa's outfits and it didn't wash well (faded and streaky), so beware!
I don't know if this weather is headed your way but if it shows up, make sure you have lots of blankets and wear lots of layers! Brrrr! We have had ice sliding off the roof all day.
My poor dog...we just got her hair cut yesterday. She was SOO cold outside today, she had to have at least one foot up off the ground at all times! She was even wearing her Dora The Explorer sweater!
So cute!!! I love her Dorothy shoes! What a pretty girl!
That's such a cute idea! Love it! Sawyer has a Valentine's shirt I bought at Target last year that said "Hunk of Burnin' love". It cracky's me up every time I look at it!
I love this one! The fabrics go together so well!
FAB-ulous!!! I love the top, I love the pants, and DD is beautiful!!
Today I'm starting a new applique project. I'm surfing the web for some ideas. Wish me luck!
Aw, they look so pretty in their new jammies!! Can't wait to see what you're working on!!
That is SO cute! I can't wait to see them modeled on your little cuties!
