Just checking in: I strained a muscle in my back so I can't sit very comfortably right now. Megan and I quickly scanned everything tonight: love all the new outfits! I will be back when I can sit and respond properly.

Teresa: I did notice that you said something about the Hello Kitty socks. Megan picked out all the footwear herself and is pleased that you noticed!

Have a great night my sewer friends!

Hi Everyone!
I finished the appliqued top that I started today. I wanted to add a ruffle to the bottom, but I found it would have been too long. I have to hand it to LisaZoe, I don't know how she does the faces so beautifully.
Anyway, here are 4 shameless photos.

This is FABULOUS! You did a great job - don't sell yourself short!

Wow! After Lisa Zoes Tink and Tom's Easter creation I almost don't want to post the tee I did! I guess I will anyway - after all I did already upload it!! Anyway here's a Valentines tee for DS2. We start our cruise on the 14th.

DD saw it and wants one too, so I ordered the Moda fabric and will make one to match the skirt that Lori made. Will probably make myself one too.

This is just sooo cute! What a great idea!
Found some more pictures...this is the other outfit that Lisa made for my daughter...

That is FANTASTIC Your daughter is adorable
Here are two pajamas that I made in the past few days. I bought a bunch of brushed cotton and finally decided to make Ireland a nightgown. It's nothing special. She's really hard on pajamas. LOL
299380557.jpg

I at first thought that this would be an outfit, but the more I worked on it, it started looking like summer pajamas.
299380555.jpg

Today I'm starting a new applique project. I'm surfing the web for some ideas. Wish me luck!

They are both adorable and the jammies are cute too

I finally have the girls' Valentine's outfits finished. I ended up making 2 (and 2 of each), but I only have pics of the dress. They wore the tops last week-end & dd1 was cutting teeth & cranky about it so there aren't any pics yet.

The dresses came out pretty cute & when they're too short to wear as dresses by the end of summer, they can be worn as tops. :cool1:

I love this and I have been looking for this type of pattern! Do you mind sharing what pattern you used?

I came across this on one of my YahooGroups. I thought it would work for a Disney custom. Maybe a Belle?

That is going right on my to do list!
We leave in 4 days and I think I might be all set. I have both a long sleeve and a short sleeve shirt to go under each outfit depending on the weather. I have finished all the outfits I wanted to and now just need to pack.

Oh and we went to the Disney Store the other day to check for any sales plus I had a 15% off coupon. I let Lauren pick which PJ's she wanted and she picked these:

She actually said no to Cinderella jammies and begged for the Cars ones.

I also appliquéd Mickey heads on six sweatshirts (one for each person on the trip) and added iron-on designs to the back of each sweatshirt. I'm pooped.
Off to pack.

I love all of the outfits but that winnie the pooh is my favorite!

I am so behind. I hae been working working and um working and oh, yeah taking care of sick people. I was sick last thursday and someone in my family has been sick every day there after. Mac couldn't keep anything in his stomach for 3 days and on the 4th day I came home to a Little w/ a temperature. :surfweb: I am WIPED OUT!!! But getting a pay check is kinda nice. I have never had to leave the kids w/ anyone else while their sick so I have been a basket case and feeling UBER-guilty. My new job has scheduling issues and noone ever gets 2 days off in a row so it is hard to get rested since you spend the day off catching up on laundry, dishes etc.. then go back to work for a few more days before you're off again. So I'm sorry for my absence. I have been looking at stuff when I can steal some time. Everything is great. I LOVE the clippies. I gotta make some of those!! Add it to the list:laughing:

...t.

Hey t! Glad to hear from you but sorry about your sick little ones! Hope they are feeling better soon!:grouphug:

Excellent idea Lisa! Thank you! I will definitely try this in the future. I'm just getting used to my serger, so this I will have to try.

I can't believe I waited so long to finally buy a serger. I think I'd been intimidated by all the stories of threading problems, tension difficulties, etc. Mine isn't the best but boy it's opened up options to things I'd never have tried before.

Look what I learned how to do today!

It is much cuter is real life! Megan had it on for about 5 seconds before she threw it on the kitchen table. I would never have completed it without LisaZoe's help! Thank you so much for answering my desperate pms! Once I figured out the European pattern, it came together pretty quickly.

You did a great job! I bet Megan will get to like hats when it's her decision to wear one. I love hats on Zoe but I've learned not to suggest she wear one because that's guaranteed to get the opposite effect. LOL

I think your Cinderella face looks great! I really think it's a matter of practice. My first attempts were OK but each time I think I get a bit closer to the original.

Hello again everyone, I used to be disneyworldmama but had to change my email and my account got all messed up so I had to start over :( I just wanted to let you all know that.

I love the Cinderella outfit, you guys are so talented

I had some precious dresses made by someone I found on ebay. Her customs are amazing!

We went to a car show last night to see "Mater" so I let dd wear her Cars dress that she will also wear at MGM when we go in 2 weeks. She was so heartbroken when she realized we WEREN'T going to WDW that night.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I disappeared. Some of you know we have been going through some intense medical testing on our Daughter Emma 20 months... We still don't have a diagnosis from all of the testing - EEG, EMG, RNS, Muscle biopsy, MRI, urine organic acid and blood tests for conditions like Tay Sachs and Rett.. It has been such a stressful time that I haven't had the heart to sew.

Well... I'm back! We took Em to a craniosacral therapist yesterday in Montreal Canada who was on the phone with a Drs in Israel and Wisconsin before we even arrived. For the first time in a long time I have hope we can provide Em with relief and help and that maybe this can point our Dr's in the right direction.

Anyway, Since we have such a rotten time these past months I have booked the 4 of us on a Double Dip CC cruise in August.. You know what that means! More New outfits! Now I need to catch up on all of you! I can't wait!

I stayed up all night to finish my version of a Cindy dress! I don't even have a model because she is asleep, but I'll post some new pics later with the pants. I've got to put buttons on this one too. I don't know what it is with me and buttons, but I can never figure them out until the outfit is done!

Wow...I just noticed a ton of threads that need to be cut. Also, it's not crooked in "real life", just on my computer screen! ;)

Just want you to know that I'll be praying that the Dr's frind an answer very, very soon! I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

I am, however, THRILLED for you that you're going on a double dip! Get to sewing!

This is great! I've been working on my version. I've not finished it because I've been sick for a few days and not felt like getting it done. Now I'm glad it's not finished, because I'm gonna have to CASE the "A dream is a wish your heart makes" on the back. What a great idea! Hope you don't mind me CASEing.

It looks beautiful. I love how you added the wording on the back. Unfortunately, my embroidery machine only comes with regular lettering. I need to hijack my mothers Huskavarna, and see if she has script writing. We still have yet to graduate to buying cards or that system to download images. I don't even know what it's called...:rotfl:

Castle - have you tried Embird or Sew What Pro? I have a trial copy of both them on my computer right now. It looks like they both let you use whatever fonts are on your computer to create lettering. The embird trial will only let you do "A, B & C" in the trial so you can get a feel for what it does. Sew What lets you do them all. That REALLY opens up a lot of possibilities for fonts.

How do you get the images from your computer to your embroidery card? Do you need a card reader or whatever it's called?

Sorry, I don't know. My machine has a USB port, and I forget that not all of them do.

This is very pretty. Do you mind if I CASE the writing on the back? That really makes the dress extra special.
