Funny, I was confusing myself with others too -- yes sometimes I can be that stupid. I would see that Dalmation and think "hmmm, I don't remember responding to this thread already". I never looked at the posters name or anything just assumed that since it was the dalmation it was me!

Cute! I loved the dalmation but this is much better!

I have heard it runs big. but have not made it myself. you are very sweet to do that for her.
Lori

Thanks. Of course I will try one out on Megan first (she will get any mistakes) and then I will make one for her. I am hoping their heads are about the same size (Megan is a year and a half younger but has hair, so I think it will about even) so I can make the same thing for both. I think because she was so excited, it made me very excited to do something for her.

Hey Lori, did you notice Megan's signature pose? She would really love it if Josephine worked it into her repertoire next time you are doing pictures! :rolleyes1

Hey, I think I lost the quote, but that cake looks great! I would be thrilled to get a cake like that for my birthday!

is this a done deal. Can the mom still change her mind or is this baby part of their forever family?
Lori

Im not 100% sure - but they do have to stay in this area till the middle of next week - I really hope all goes well for them!! Thanks for asking!!

Wendy:)

Okay, the outfit posted by CampingGris, well I have that actual skirt in a size small(4-6) child's size! It is brand new with the tags hanging on it! My daughter never got to wear it because she is really tall for her age and I just didn't like how short it was on her! If any one is interested, just PM me! Whoever pm's me first, gets it!

Sorry, but the skirt has been taken!!!!!

See what happens when I go offline for a few minutes!! Congratualtions to whoever won that skirt!

Heyyyyy! A Giselle dress! Beautiful! I love modest princess dresses and that is gorgeous!

I must Copy!

Thanks!!! Copy away!

I just wanted to let you all know I took the nightgown and doll nightgown over to my friend today and she just loved it. She told me she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up and would I teach her to sew. So sweet!

Her hair is already starting to fall out from the chemo so I want to make cloche hat from YCMT. Has anyone tried it? Any tips would be appreciated!

I am so glad she loved the nightgown! You are so sweet to do that for her!

That Brian, he's such a sap! If he didn't love Disney, he wouldn't go there every year! Henry would think the owner of Brian's store had the right idea. I'm assuming you mean they go to Florida every few years? If not, why are they there every few weeks?
No WEEKS!!! Can you believe it!???!!!

Well, if you are all wondering why I haven't commented on everything, its because my computer or this website, I don't know which, is being STUPID! I haven't been able to multiquote or post half of the time! ARGHHHHHH! Just wanted to say that I love both of the tink outfits and the outfit you did CampingG. Great jobs. LOVE the Giselle dress Teresa! Lydia is sooo cute! My DD4 just saw her pic and said "OH how Beautiful, what's her name?" She thought Lydia was a beautiful name and said she looked just gorgeous in her dress! She is so funny, she always wants to know all of the kids names on here! And if I can make her all of the outfits they are modeling!
I think it's this new server, it's messing up a lot! Lydia always wants to know every child's name too! And, she will NOT stop until I tell her SOMETHING! So, some of your children have made up names! Lydia's doctor (and Heather's friend, same person) just had a baby girl, and she named her Lydia Rose too! Tell your daughter that Lydia always loves seeing pictures of her too!

Funny, I was confusing myself with others too -- yes sometimes I can be that stupid. I would see that Dalmation and think "hmmm, I don't remember responding to this thread already". I never looked at the posters name or anything just assumed that since it was the dalmation it was me!

When I use to have an Ariel avatar, I did the same thing! I thought I was the only one!

Here are the pictures of the dresses I made for one of my Dis friends. She loves them and her girls do too. She leaves for WDW in less than a week.

She said that I could share these pictures, so I will.

FANTASTIC!!! I love this cake! You really did a wonderful job!
Teresa, Lydia looks beautiful! That dress is great!

And the kiddos look so cute together! I love that you two are so close! It would have been so much fun to have my best friend by my cousin.

Thanks Jessica! It is wonderful having kids so close! It's almost like Tessa has a sister this way!

To everyone who comented on Lydia's Giselle dress, thank you so much! It means a lot to me to have the aproval of you guys!!! :cloud9:

I've used the free pattern from Ottobre magazine. I was trying to get a link to it for you but the website doesn't seem to be working tonight. It's in PDF format so I'd be happy to send it to you (send me a PM and I'll give you my email address). I used it to make this hat. I altered the brim just a little in back but otherwise it was very simple to use... once I remembered to add the seam allowance when tracing the pattern. LOL

I love everyone's creations! I am starting tomorrow on my valentine's outfit. I found a cute shirt from Target, and I think I am going to make a Tshirt dress. I haven't made anything since Christmas, and I am anxious to make something.

I really like that Tink swing top, I may have to try one, too! I am trying to think what I want the girls to wear for my trip in April. I am thinking I want to make mostly swing tops. I would like to try one that is a halter style. I am just waiting to see if there will be some new fabric out. I wanted to make something with Hannah Montanna or HSM.

I have some princess toile I need to do something with. I am debating on making a twirl skirt or a pillowcase dress. Haven''t decided yet.

I love watching and waiting for everyone's great ideas. I am hoping to get inspired! haha:rotfl:

One word...YUMMY!

In Rehoboth? Last time I was there, they had converted it to a regular Store.

I was there in late November. It is still in the same place in the outlets, so I am assuming it's still an outlet? I know it is not as nice as the Disney stores that used to be around here!

So today I am off to finish putting Christmas decorations away and to finish assembling the girls' bunk bed. Pictures to follow.... of course:rolleyes:

Oh yes, I did want to mention one more thing to Tom....my DH doesn't even know what a diaper cover is.....hahahaha....hats off to you!!!

That spongebob is really cute- I bet it was yummy too!! Frosting can be a real pain sometimes!!

Hey Thanks everyone- I really appreciate all the compliments and your guys help with the cake ideas

Are both of these tops made from the same pattern? What pattern is it? My 8 year old just told me that she likes it and wants it! She's gotten to the age where she's starting to get fussy about what she wears. So.... if I can find a pattern that she likes I'm all over it!!! LOL

It is the same basic pattern. I'm not sure if it is available in the bookmarks, but I DO know that it is available at youcanmakethis.com - it is called the stripwork jumper. It's pretty simple.

I am loving everyones new stuff! I cannot wait to get my laptop back so I can be on here to much everyday again lol. I got the sewing machine that Revrob suggested last night. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4764726
I am going to Hancocks in a bit to see what I can find fabric wise. My sewing skills are very limited right now but I am hoping to get much better. :) Does anyone have suggestions on the stitch you use for appliques? And when you buy fabric with nothing in particular in mind how much do you buy?

Hey, I'm going to Hancock's today too! Got my mailer! If you see me there, hollar! I'm wearing jeans and a long sleeve red t-shirt!

For appliques I use a zig-zag stitch, I set it for length of 0.3 and width of about 2.5 or 3.0 depending on how large the design is that I'm appliquing. I'm no expert though.

Hi Everyone!

Looks like joann's is having a good sale starting tomorrow!

Has anyone added a ruffle to the bottom of a knit pant? did it turn out? could you post a pic for me????? or give advice??

thanks, wendy

BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE DANGEROUS...TO YOUR DENTAL HEALTH!!!

IMG_1655.jpg

Madison and I were at a birthday party today and Madison knocked out one of her front teeth!! Yes, her front tooth! They had one of those bounce house things and Madison had been in it all day. It was the very end of the party and Madison came out of the bouncy for a drink of water. After she drinks, she starts crying and says that she is missing her tooth. Sure enough, I look up and she's bleeding and her top, front, left tooth is completely missing. We ice and call the pediatrician. The service calls back and basically she needs to eat soft foods for a few days, follow up with the dentist on Monday and if she has pain take Tylenol. Because it's a baby tooth, there's nothing that she can do. So, here's her new toothless grin.

Oh, but she gets to do one thing before her sister - GET A VISIT FROM THE TOOTH FAIRY!!!

Oh, and yes, that's a scrape on her face from running into her dresser only about 4 hours earlier!!! :scared1:

It is kind of surprising that we made it to almost 4 before a major accident, because this girl is fearless!!! I'm shocked that we weren't in an ER sooner!!! :confused3

Ok, I am totally imcompetant, I found it! It looks very intimidating! I am going to try it though: thanks!

Aww, her toothless grin is so cute! Those jumpy things are trouble but the kids love them!
