This is a recent outfit that I made. My daughter is hooked on Ariel.

This is ADORABLE!!!

Actually the problem with Ebay is that they said my account it linked with someone who's been suspended. Someone that I don't know. It's so frustrating. So they suspended me until I fax them copies of utility bills and my driver's license, to prove I am who I say I am. After doing some research, I find that by far, I'm not the only one this has happened to. Anyway, I just took some quick photos outside. Hope you all like them.

OOOH! I love this dress too!!! So CUTE!!!

Thanks ampooh!! One reason I did the variations is b/c everyone is all the time asking if the two girls are twins. They are cousins & 3.5 months a part in age. I thought maybe if I didn't do them identical, we would be less likely to be asked. (Probably sounds silly but it does tend to get on my nerves!)

My Lydia and my sister's daughter, Tessa are exactly 3 months apart. I just LOVE it when people ask if they are twins! They are best friends, so they love it as well.

They don't look a thing alike though! Tessa has straight blonde hair, and Lydia has red wavy hair.

I love the outfits you made! Lydia was just standing here looking at them and got all excited about them too!

I've been following the conversation about older kids wearing boutique clothes and honestly think that it depends on your child. My older kids love to wear boutique style outfits. And I ended up making them all matching outfits because it's easier for me to spot them in the park. Here are a few outfits I have almost finished and already finished to give you a few ideas for the older kids. The outfits don't contain nearly as many ruffles as I would use if it were for just my youngest daughter.

The first outfit has colored velcro and the leg ruffles can be exchanged for flowers or other decorations to match other shirts. The shirt shown just has an iron on ariel on it.

The second outfit has a giraffe print mickey on the shirt and the back pocket of the jeans.

These dresses have matching purses made from material scraps.

We went very casual last time except for the character meals, this time they asked if they could get a little more dressed up so we made outfits for each of the parks. (And if you are wondering about using white in the parks, I have treated the back of the pants with fabric protector.):goodvibes

I love the giraffe jeans! My daughters would love that! I also love the blue Mickey dress! They (and your daughters) are ALL beautiful!

These are not Disney themed but a lady here in Maryland made these for me for our trip in September 2006. SHe has made me a few really cute outfits for them but at the moment her name escapes me (which really ticks me off since I will probably be buying from her again and it's embarassing to always have to ask her name again ! :rotfl: )

Blessed Be,
Tina

I made Lydia this dress. She was so excited to wear it in Florida! She was hoping to see some dolphins so she could show it to them!

I have some more of the material left, and am thinking of making a matching dress for my neice to wear too.

hey ladies! forgive me for not referencing the source of the lovely layered bows w/ bottlecaps in the middle, but theres so many pages on this thread it makes me dizzy!:rotfl2: but i would love to know how to make these. ive seen the korker directions, but i think id like to attempt these first. thanks in advance!

For those of you that have used the fabric scrapbook embrodried stickers how did you attatch them? Did you sew them on or will they stay on just sticking them on? I found 4 of the Donald Ducks with crossed arms on clearance for 1.00 each thought they would be great for pocket tees on the pocket. :)

Use E6000 glue. You can find it at craft places or Wal-Mart.

Hi everyone. I found this great fabric today. It's like the Minnie dot, but with huge dots. I already made a skirt out of it, with white trim, and white tulle and a white underskirt. I'm still working on getting the waistband on it. LOL. maybe tomorrow...Lisa
Oh yeah, I got the fabric at JoAnn's.

I love this thread. I thought I would attempt posting my first picture here. These dresses were made for me from a wonderful Ebayer. But it was too cold in Feb. to wear them alone. I had to add the black Gymboree undershirts and jeans to keep them warm. They will be able to wear them again to the AK in Sept/Oct for our next trip.

Lydia would love these! She is really into animal print!

I can't wait to see what you have made, I just saw this fabric today! I really like the huge dots!

Oh I forgot to post that I saw the most darling baby girl outfits at Walmart last week. On clearance too. They were Minnie sailor outfits. They would be fabulous for a cruise.

I found a link!
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5292965

I stumbled across those exact same outfits the other week at our local Walmart, and they even had the sizes I needed for both my girls! Just like you said - perfect for our September cruise! And they were only $6 a set on clearance in our local store.

I have been reading this thread for weeks, months? Well, pretty much since it started :goodvibes I always love reading all of the ideas. I usually dress my kids (4 of them...2 boys and 2 girls) for the parks, but I have not done much to make outfits.

Well, even though really my kids are all set for our next trip in September, that $4 Walmart dress sucked me in :confused3 I copied the embellishments with the fabric stickers and just love the look! Thanks castle creations for the inspiration!

I wanted to mention that I found a cloth covered wide headband with a tie (headband cloth extends to tie under the hair) at AC Moore today $1 that matches the red with small white dot material of the Walmart dress PERFECTLY.

I am really picky about such things, but even sitting on the dress that handband looks like it is made of the same material (okay, not exactly the same material since the dress is cotton and the headband is a synthetic, but the reds are the same exact hue). Plus I was able to use a few of the leftover fabric stickers from the Disney pack to embellish the headband. Hope this helps someone.

Here is DDs outfit for Animal Kingdom day. :) As you can tell, I can't sew at all, but I figured out how to put ribbons on!

Lydia was walking by as I was looking at this post. She stopped in her tracks and said, "Wait, wait, wait! Go back up! I WANT THAT!" I tell you she is crazy for that animal print!

Are the ears on these pants lopsided? My husband looked at this outfit tonight and went 'the ears are lopsided on the pants"......??
