Has anyone appliqued onto an iron-on transfer (after you ironed it onto the shirt)? Help! I'm askeered!

Here are some pic from our trip in Sept. I'm still trying to find the others.

Great photos! Do you have any other pictures of the AK dresses? I'm in an AK outfit dilemna and we leave in 5 days :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: To make a long story short, I had a hard time finding some fabric. Finally I just bit the bullet and paid way too much at a quilt store. I have 1 yd each of 4 fabrics but I CAN NOT decide whether to do a stripwork jumper, a stripwork skirt, or a tiered twirl skirt. I like the idea of combining the jumper with the tiers like you did but I would LOVE to see more photos! Okay back to my frenzied shirt appliqueing.

For all you webkin nuts....Lily got a Shining Stars stuffie in her stocking. We registered her star w/ the International Star Registry today.
You can find "Lily's Twinkle" in the constellation Andromedaprincess: (the princess;) ) it's location is 1h 1m 33.38s 394' 13.64" I have NO CLUE what means and even though Mac got a super cool telescope for his b-day I'm not so sure we can even find Andromeda much less pinpoint Lily's Twinkle. But there it is. Lily has a star. I'm sure I will not hear the end of it until Mac has one too. He'll probably name is something like "Cheese" you know 9 yo boys!!:rotfl:

Her stuffie is a tiger and on the site I had to "create" her shining star profile...I named it Tigerlily. Original NO but still cute.

Just to add more confusion to the mix I'm going to say I want you to make a patchwork tiered "skirt" and add it to a jumper bodice. Noone has done that w/ the AK dresses and I'm all for doing something new!!! I intended to do that w/ Lily's Halloween patchwork skirt I was going to add it to a faux corset style bodice. Add some minnie dot if you need extra fabric. UNLESS she had a ton of jumpers to wear and you want to do a skirt to be different. In which case I'm holding to the uniqueness of an AK patchwork.

I've not done it - I'd like to hear answers. I'd be afraid that the stitching directly onto the design would mess it up (cutting through it when the needle passes through) and make it peel off. But that's just my thought, so I'd be anxious to hear what others have to say.

Gorgeous Girls in totally great outfits!

Ugh, looks wet that day!

I think we were there the same time. It was a short rain shower, not to bad. It didn't stop my girls. They thought they were suppose to play in it. :rotfl:

Here is a picture of the dress I made yesterday for Mayme. I still have to put some buttons on, but I can't decide what color to use. What do you think?

Here she is trying out the twirl factor!

She HATES for me to dry her hair, so unless we are going somewhere, that's a battle I choose not to have...therefore, she has wet hair in these pics! I also want to make some pants to go with it in case it is cool when we are there. BTW...only 20 days to go!!!:yay:  :cheer2:

Also, I don't know that this is the shirt she will wear under the jumper. I guess it depends on the weather.
