I love the Minnie with the tulle. I have made one too, but didn't post pictures. I did the top layer with the red and big white dots, and the tulle and bottom layer where white.
I just have one question...how much tulle did they say you needed for yours? I bought 2 yards of each color, but wound up just using one color.

The pattern calls for 3 yards.

I put a center seam in the back on mine. Having said that, I didn't like the pillowcase dress much on my DD (she's really thin) so after the first one I made, I put a waistband in them.
Carrie

I was thinking of making some with a waistband as well. Could you post a picture?

I just finished a My Little Pony skirt for Lydia. It's nothing fancy, but when I tried to post my pictures, I realized I had taken them on the internal memory of my camera and not the memory card, and I can't find the cord! It's nothing great, but Lydia loved it!

LadyRob,
Great job on the skirt. I would love to make my DD a skirt for halloween. It's going to take me all summer to finally get the nerve to make one. I hate following directions!

I can't take any credit for the tank. I only made the skirt. I found the tank on ebay from Bowznstuff. However, since I've purchased the clear embroidery pressor foot for my machine, appliques have become much easier.

that is an excellent tutu skirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did you get that pattern?

Lori
hehe

I think I e-mailed everyone the autograph book. If there is someone I missed, just send me another PM. It was not intentional, but I must have gotten 50 requests. Whew:eek:

Okay, don't laugh!

Here is my knock-off of the tutu twirl skirt. Not sure where DD will wear this but I had alot of fun making it. There are a couple things I will do different next time but for the most part, it came out pretty good. I was too chicken to make the tulle shorter than the underskirt. Once I get my rotary cutter and mat, I will try another one.

I absolutely LOVE this!!!! It is tutu cute!!! My daugther would flip for this and it's twirly factor! I must make this!

I've been loving this thread! As a matter of fact I dusted off the old sewing machine and purchased $90 :scared: worth of material and supplies at Joann's today. Didn't get any disney stuff since our next trip is not for a little bit but I figured I would freshen up my skills. Here are some pics of stuff we made for our last disney trip. These were all with some help from my mother this time I'm going it alone.

This one we just made some minnie pants and my sister has a disney machine so we embroidered the onsie to match.

Since we were so close to our trip when we decided to start making stuff what we did was go to Target and get really cute shirts on sale for $2-3 a piece and then embroidered them with disney stuff. I wish I had more pics of that stuff but I didn't think of taking them.

OK, I couldn't take it anymore! I had to make a Disney outfit! It should still fit in Dec - at least I hope! I used the new Mickey fabric from Wal-Mart. I blinged the t-shirt with some iron-on crystals. I can't wait to try it on her!

It's not crooked in person, just hanging kind of wonky.

This is cute too! I love the bling. Please tell me more about the crystals. Where did you get them?

One more question, is that ribbon around the bottom of the top tier or did you make that with fabric? I like it.

I got the crystals at Hobby Lobby in the aisle with all the iron-ons. They come in all different sizes. All you do is place them where you want and iron them on. I must get more - I now have the urge to put bling on everything!

Oh I finished the little hats for nicholas to keep his head out of the sun! I made a khaki with a red mickey and a white with a black mickey and a blue with a white mickey! They came out cute I think!

It's the layered tulle skirt from YCMT. I actually added it to the swap. Let me know if you want it now.

thanks, but I got that pattern a while ago. I shared with a few already! We are all goingto be sewing like crazy this weekend!
