Here is my first attempt at a necklace.

Can someone tell me why type of wire you use. I bought the 26 gauge wire and its to wiry if that makes sense lol. Its very stiff.. Other than that I like it.

I use 49 strand wire by Beadalon. They have it at Joann's, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and probably any other craft store. Use a coupon though if you can get one! It's not cheap.

Random Mickey head question- do most people attach them to the garment straight on...or does anyone do it at an angle- like Mickey's head is tilted to the side? I do most things on an angle- but I am wondering if it looks weird on the dress. I am using the WalMart dress as the base for my daughter's Minnie Mouse party dress for her 2nd bday and so far I have it put together with pins and duct tape!:lmao:

Hopefully I have enough points for these pictures to show...and yes I know that NOTHING is on straight...I am HORRIBLE at straight- but does it look odd?

I think it looks adorable! Keep it the way you have it! Are you putting the tulle underneath it too?

I found some of these dresses at Walmart the other day, but my daughter is much too tall for any of the sizes they had.

Hi! I'm new to posting on the boards, but I've been lurking for a long time and have got so many great ideas. You girls are amazing!

DisneyMagic28--I love the bottlecap necklace and bracelet set you posted several days back. Would you mind sending me a pm letting me know the eBay seller? I don't think I can pm anyone yet.

Thanks so much!

disneyworldmama--Hi! Would you mind sending me a pm with the eBay seller of the Kids Around the World (Epcot) outfit? I don't have enough posts to pm yet. Thanks so much!

Yes- I want the tulle under there- in that pic it is three layers- a stiff white, and then a softer white and black.

For people who have done tulle- do you leave the open edge at the bottom or the fold?

Here is something I made today. I had these fabrics lying around and figured I'd better get them sewn into something. I wanted a more "earthy" look for Animal Kingdom. Hope you all like it. This is my first time appliquing a Minnie face.

I looooove this!!! I love that you put the blue mixed in with it! Another great job!!!

Hi ladies---

I know this isn't Disney, but I thought I would post it here. I made these school overalls for my daughter's first day of school last year only to find out she's not allowed to wear jeans... So, I am putting these up for sale on Ebay. It's the overalls plus the hairbling. (the hairbling would look awesome with some of those Minnie sets...;) ) If you look closely, there's an actual bell on the school.

All I have to say is WOW!!!! God, I wish i was talented enough to make some of this stuff. I LOVE it. I went onto Ebay and bid for a couple of things (won one so far!). I wish I could afford more...is there any chance that anyone is re-selling (gently) used outfits?

I don't know about the tulle, I would think you could do it either way.

I can't wait to see this when you get it all done and on your daughter!

MoeFam, I LOVE the invitation and the dress! ObsesseedwiththeMouse, the school overalls are darling!

What do you think of this style? It's a long halter with a pair of shorts underneath. The ruffle of the shorts makes it look like a double ruffle on the halter. It just sort of worked out that way--it wasn't intentional. Anyway, I'm thinking about listing this one on ebay because I waaay overbought on the seersucker Minnie fabric. I've finished halters for my two girls and my niece and I still have leftover!

Very cute, you have a winner. You should list it, I think it would do well.

I've seen where people are starting to list the long sleeved t-shirts with the fur cuffs (already and it's only June) Of course I want one of these!!! How do you make them? Anyone have any experience making these? Where do you find the fake "fur"? I was wondering if you could do it by velcro so you could change out the colors of the fur on a white tee? Any pics of anyone having one of these?
