First of all, I want to tell everyone that you can't be Teresa's sister unless you spell her name right!! There is no "h" in Teresa!! So there!
Happy Birthday Heather Sue!

Theresa that was really sweet what you wrote! I love how nice you are too each other!
I have a sister and we get along but we don't see each other as often as I would like. She works hard and hasn't been able to have any children. Her DH is kind of odd too.

But when we get together we have fun and she loves my kids.
So here's to Sisters! And Happy Birthday! Do you have any special plans?
Henry and I went to dinner BY OURSELVES!!!

It was great!
AWE...thats so sweet. I hope some day my girls have this type of relationship too. I don't with my own sister, so I try hard now to make sure my 3 get along as well as possible.
I'm sure they will!!!
I've been working on a new outfit. This portion will either be the front of a jumper, or a peasant top. I haven't decided yet.
WONDERFUL!!! I can't imagine how long that would take!
I am adopting Theresa and Heather as my sisters too. Mine doesn't like me.
Aw...how sweet. I like you, but not as much as I like Teresa!
Ah, how could ANYONE not like you? I understanding wanting to adopt Theresa and Heather though. I don't have a sister at all. SO, to have a sister like Theresa or Heather would be a dream!
You guys are just wonderful!

You probably wouldn't like us nearly as much in person, though! We have this "issue" with always having to be right.
Wow, Wow, Wubbzie!! That is so pretty! I love it!!
That's just about the sweetest thing!!!
Thank you!!!
Oh Heather, what a sweet gift. How wonderful to have had that type of relationship that she wanted you to have that. I'm sure it makes you sad but happy at the same time.
On a happy note, Happy Birthday!
I just love Jo, too. We are very close, even more so this last year after we lost Stan. She is only 58 years old, so way too young to be my actual grandma. But, she was married to stan for 32 years.
AWWWWWWWW! Happy Birthday HeatherSue!!!!! What'd ya GET????
A black and blue foot!

I was carrying empty totes from Christmas decorations into the basement and ran my foot, full force, into Henry's scuba diving air tanks. YEEE-OUCH!!!! We also went (hobbled) out to look for a jewelry armoire for my birthday, but didn't find what I was looking for yet.
I was going to suggest that you make sure you have the right ruffler for the type of shank you have. low, high, or slanted. I know there are pictures of the different ones in the photobucket account.
Yep, that's what I was going to say. I thought I had a low shank machine and the ruffler seemed to fit on it, but it would clunk and break my needle instead of making ruffles. So, I got a slank ruffler and it works great!
Hi, it's me, the lurker who made a couple of ribbon shirts with iron on stuff and then made one actual sewn ribbon shirt. I bought a sewing machine on Black Friday at Target. It came with an instruction book and a DVD. I hope to start making some stuff like you awesome designers!!
I just wanted to say I wish that this thread was easier to find things in. I know that off and on, I've seen people post directions of how to do things. It's impossible to find those though with 1,371 pages. Do you think they might give you all your own subforum one of these days?
Welcome back, lurker!! When someone posts really good instructions, Teresa usually puts the post in the bookmarks (located in my siggy, Teresajoy's siggy, and the first post in this thread). I don't really want our own subforum because then we'd lose the "family" feel that this thread has! Of course, it would be easier to follow, I suppose.
Well everyone, I hate to say it again, but I'll be off the DIS and our sweet little thread here for about 2 weeks .
Good luck with your move!! We'll miss you!!
