You can hear him at www.myspace.com/workingclassproject

okay can i just say that i want Lego Star Wars for xmas The Complete saga for Xbox.... has anyone seen the commercial for it . it is really cute , i love to play and just have my character die so i can see him explode....

sorry i just saw the commercial again..;)

My DS9 LOVES Lego starwars. We don't have an Xbox but he has it on playstation2..We never let him have fighting games or shooting games so he was totally p-syched (when he was 7) and the SW legos game came out. He was like, "MOM!!! it's okay, cause they're just legos and when you shoot them they just pop apart...but they're legos so they can just be put back together again, right??? It's not like ACTUALLY killing them, right?" He wanted it so bad how could I say no. He still loves that game even though he's beat it a million times. I wish that I'd gotten the second one for him last christmas. He got it at his dad's and now I'm not sure it'll be so great of a present. He hasn't even hinted at what he wants and we are SOOOO broke!!

Is it because it is scratchy on the inside? LisaZoe recommended something to put on the inside of the shirt after you applique if it is scratchy. I don't remember what it was called but I think she said that you get it in the section with the stabilizers and underwonder. It is just a soft backing that you iron on the insided of the shirt, kind of like what you have on the inside of store bought applique shirts. I hope this helps, I have a horrible headache and can't think very clear right now....

I need to know what this is! DS is grouchy about wearing his shirts because they itch. So this would help immensely. My whole clan, including myself is sensitive. I can't wear lace, dd won't wear shirring, etc. We're a bunch of spazes! :rotfl2:

camelotcats - I love dave foley too - but weird al? really? with which hair? :rotfl2:

My list:
1. Andy Garcia
2. Johnny Depp
3. Patrick Stewart (I accidentally typed jean luc picard first)
4. Can you believe I can't remember who number 4 is? I'll have to think. Probably Harry Connick Jr, but I'm not sure i've ever officially put him on the list.
5. and Angelina Jolie. Sorry, but I have to be honest. :upsidedow

weloveprincesses - I like him too. never heard him sing.

With the "hey ricky" video hair. I think he's sexy. However, remember, I LOOOOVE geeks. I should post a pic of my DH (course I'd have to take one with his glasses on!)...sometimes I think he just needs a pocket protector to complete the look. *sigh* I think DH looks a lot like Dave Foley. I'm weird.

Andy Garcia is yummy..

hmm.

1. Don Henley
2. Hugh Laurie
3. Don Henley
4. Don Henley

ok.. you get my point:rotfl: Its so bad I saw him twice in one year and was pregnant with each of my youngest at the time. My 3yo can sing hotel california:rolleyes1

OOOH!! Hugh Laurie!! Yummy!! Especially as House!! MMMMMMmmm.

Actually, when I was younger, Robert Sean Leonard was on my list from Dead Poet's society (along with the kid from seaquest whose name I totally forget...Jonathan something), but he got replaced.

very cute , i love all the fabric where did you get it at?

I got it at JoAnn's. On sale, of course!

Love it! But does Megan have more clothes than she can even wear? :rotfl:

Megan has a whole drawer in her dresser for her customs and it is crammed full! So yes, she has more clothes than she can wear!

My list:

1) John Cusack
2) Cary Elwes
3) Johnny Depp
4) James Spader
5) Paul Rudd

Actually, when I was younger, Robert Sean Leonard was on my list from Dead Poet's society (along with the kid from seaquest whose name I totally forget...Jonathan something), but he got replaced.

LOVE DPS and it was Jonathan Brandis. They filmed an episode of SeaQuest here at the springs and we were all soooo excited!!! But noone got to see him, I don't even know if he was actually here or they just did some underwater stuff...

My list:

1) John Cusack
2) Cary Elwes
3) Johnny Depp
4) James Spader
5) Paul Rudd

Okay, I'll go w/ John Cusack...he's got a brooding-ness about him that I like in guys. You know, a totured soul kinda thing

I like robert sean leonard a lot too.

but as for the seaquest kid -

His name is Jonathon Brandis. He was the pretend love of my life for many years.
He looked a lot like my high school crush.
So this one time, I got to go see a Jonathon brandis movie WITH the high school crush! It wasn't like it was JUST me and him. It was our whole science olympiad team.
(I'm a nerd too. :) )
we went to see ladybugs - where he's rodney dangerfield's step son and has to pretend to be a girl so he can help the girl's soccer team win.
I ALMOST watched a chuck norris movie just to see him - sidekicks, I think.

Anyway.
I regret to inform you.
But in a way I'm glad because now someone can share my pain.
He killed himself awhile back.
And everytime I see him on tv, I get really sad.
He was on Murder she wrote one time.
I DVR it.
cuz I love it.
And I can't bring myself to watch that episode anymore.

kinda like Jerry Orbach.
who died a few years ago.
and was on murder she wrote a bunch (which is interesting to me because he and angela lansbury did beauty and the beast together).
anyway, he had a long life, so it's not quite as heart breaking as Jonathon brandis.

ummm.

ok.
t-beri -
I LOVE LL - his lips! yum!
his body!
ack!
and I love star wars lego - and I use the same reasoning - it's ok if I beat up queen amidala - she'll go right back together!!! :confused3

spongie - kate beckinsale is on my top ten probably. And jennifer connely.

ummm.
I like to sew?

I haven't been on here since Saturday (or maybe it was Sunday) and look at all the pages you folks have posted!

I thought about Heather last night while I was ironing, and wondered if she would think I was crazy.
I just had to comment on how honored I feel that you thought about me while you were ironing. :cloud9:

Rylee: I love you, Nana
Me: I love you, Rylee
Rylee: Bye Nana
Me: Bye Rylee

Oh my gosh, what a little cutie!!!! I love the phone conversation, too. :rotfl2:

I hate potty training! If anyone is a whiz at it, let me know your tips!

I am THE POTTY TRAINING QUEEN!! I have potty trained 4 kids, as soon as they turned 2 years old, in a matter of days- completely potty trained. I also had a hand in potty training many others at my mom's day care. This is what I did- NOTHING!! These kids decided they were going to use the potty and not pee their pants anymore, and they did. It was miraculous. I don't feel I had anything to do with it at all. I was nanny to the first 3 kids (1 girl and 2 boys, all different families) and the 4th was Tessa. So, all you have to do to potty train a kid, is find a kid that is ready to be potty trained and let 'em do it themselves! :rotfl2:

I LOVE this outfit and the fabric you used. Your DD just makes me smile, too. She is such a pretty girl!

I like robert sean leonard a lot too.

I had forgotten that Jonathan Brandis killed himself. HMM. It's amazing how we can form an attatchment to these people we don't even know. I still get misty when they show Kurt Cobain on TV along w/ many others but Kurt ALWAYS gets me.

Maybe Auntie Heather should come down and have a talk w/ one miss Liliana Elizabeth who will NOT pee in the potty. We watch the elmo potty time video like every day and if you ask her "where does Elmo pee?" she says "in the potty" Dadda, Momma, Mac? All pee in the potty....(me)"Where does Liliana Pee?" (Lily)"No, in my pants:cutie: " GRRR. My son was potty trained at 18 months... but then he's9 and has had maybe 5 dry nights ever (I am so ready for him to stop wetting the bed!!). SO I decided not to push her, she doesnt' even care if her diaper is wet. it would have to be soaking through to her pants before she said anything. She's lucky she has a mom who can't stand peed diapers. If I waited for her to complain she'd be in a peed diaper ALL the time!!

...t.

The outfit turned out really cute! She looks so adorable, too!!!

After making the KaChow! shirts for my ds's this weekend my oldest (autism) doesn't want to where it because "it's too scratchy" (he has sensory issues)
First of all :snooty: , I can't believe you laughed at the outfit I made for my dear nephew. I thought we were friends! ;)

Second, I was thinking you could use some fusible interfacing (the packages are about 97 cents at WalMart) on the shirts. Just iron it on the inside of the shirt, over the back of the appliques. It's pretty soft stuff.

RUN FOR THE HILLS, Cindee!!! Save Yourself!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's Beanie Babies x 100 :rolleyes1

Doomed, I tell you! It really was nice knowing you! :rolleyes1
:rotfl: Oh no, I can't believe I told Tessa's grandma that she would probably like one of these for Christmas! :scared1:

We got home Saturday night after our week at WDW. I can't believe that it's finally over after all that work! I went through my pics to find ones where you can see DD's outfits.

VERY cute! I love the fabrics you used!

Okay so I'm new here and all, so all I kept thinking to myself when I read this was, man I really hope Bob's a dog :rotfl2:
:lmao:

That's right everybody, Spongie and UtahMama are coming to my house tomorrow! :snooty: (I had to bribe them with fabric).
I can't even tell you how jealous I am!

BTW, this is my first fresh from the bath picture. I heard it's a requirement!!
CUTE!!! Love the turkey!

Ok, I have figured out how to feed the webkinz AND put the silly thing to bed.
I am NOT and I repeat I am NOT sewing for that thing!:rotfl:

I like to sew?

Yes, I knew about the suicide. :sad1: It was something gross too, like self-hanging. Trivia: he was also the kid in The Never Ending Story 2. That was what started my crush. I saw Ladybugs. He was in something else too besides teh Chuck Norris Movie. I forget what, though.

Actually, John Cusak was my "older man" crush for the longest time. You know: pre-teen crushing on a guy in his 20's. I still own a bunch of his eighties movies. I just think he didn't age so well.

I LOVED Carey Elwes in a few of his films, but he never really "did it" for me. LOVED Princess Bride. I did like Mandy Patankin in that until my MOM said she had a crush on him! EEWW!! That's why Harrison Ford can never be o my list, he's on my Mom's list.

Okay, I'll go w/ John Cusack...he's got a brooding-ness about him that I like in guys. You know, a totured soul kinda thing

John Cusack is my always and forever number one. It is hard to trick my husband into going to see movies that he is in. I think after Grifters he caught on though and now he is resigned to see them!

I am the worst at potty training. Both kids were well after three. Megan was the worst though. I finally took her to the Disney store and told her I would buy her anything in the place if she would just pee in the potty. And it still took three weeks after that for her to decide the Cinderella dress was worth it! Don't even get me started about the pacifier and the bottle! :headache:

Actually, John Cusak was my "older man" crush for the longest time.

This makes me very sad (and old too, I guess!). John Malkovich is my "older man" crush. There is just something about him!

How funny that you were thinking of Heather while you were ironing! Hmm, I never considered that OTHER people might talk about us like we talk about all you guys! (Heather and I have many conversations about you wonderful ladies and guy!
We do...You should see my mom's face when we mention these weird names.

I just noticed DAVY JONES is going to be at EPCOT during Teresajoy's May trip. I think we should have a meet.......... But not during the show-I LOVE Davy JONES :)

Cindee
I must admit that I didn't know who Davy Jones was until I read further down the thread. I'm so sorry!:sad2:

I know what Teresa and Heather say when they talk about me, even though it is not true! :fish:
th_100_1977.jpg
Very cute outfit! You know, my Betta has been looking a little funny lately...

Yesterday, while getting ready for Rylee, my freezer stopped working and everything was melted!!!!!!!! I thought maybe Abby didn't shut it all the way the night before when she put her milkshake in there. Nope, the whole thing is dead... fridge and all!
I don't know if this will help, but most house insurance policies have coverage for the food in your fridge if it stops working. I'm thinking we claimed it once and didn't have to pay the deductible. Just thought you might want to look into that.

Okay, so could someone please pm me and clue me in as to who/what this :wizard: is that everyone keeps referring to in such a secretive sort of way :rolleyes1 I feel out of the loop, lol

Alix
I know you've been told it's code for Ebay. But, let me elaborate on that. See, we thought we'd be all clever and think of a code word, which turned out to be Voldemort (you know, "He who must not be named" from Harry Potter). So, now some just use the wizard smiley. We're not supposed to talk about ebay on here, but we're allowed to have our ebay userid in our signatures.

Those 10 year old girls are SO ruthless! DD was excited that even her former best friend who now "hates" her told her her shirt was cute. I think that made her day. Those girls are pretty mean to her. She has a new friend this year though, so that definitely helps!
Poor DD. I remember 6th and 7th grade as being absolutely THE WORST!! The kids were SO mean. I remember thinking I was SO fat because some of the girls told me I was. I look back at the pictures and I was skinny!

If it makes you feel any better...dd9 clogged up the potty this morning. It overflowed and everything while she was trying to "fix" it herself. After she realized it was overflowing she tried to wipe it up with tp. Then she moved on to bath towels. By the time she called me, there was potty water EVERYWHERE.

OH NO!!! :lmao: That is too funny! Of course, it reminds me of the time I overflowed the toilet at my uncle's house when I was about 11 years old. Water just kept coming out of the toilet and I didn't know what to do. It wasn't clean water, either...

The only man who does it for me nowdays is my main squeeze/hubby/best friend! :cloud9: He is the sexy man alive as far as I'm concerned!!! :lovestruc He is aging perfectly & I'm more in love with him than the day we met! :love2: And no-he is not watching over my shoulder making sure I type this!!!!:rotfl:
Aw, how sweet! I feel the same way. Not about your hubby, but about mine! :lmao: I really think he's the best looking guy I've ever seen!

Did I mention this totally hot musician I know??

Yeah, but I hear he's married...;)

My list:

1) John Cusack
2) Cary Elwes
3) Johnny Depp
4) James Spader
5) Paul Rudd
Good list! I don't know who Cary Elwes or Paul Rudd are, but I like the rest!

Maybe Auntie Heather should come down and have a talk w/ one miss Liliana Elizabeth who will NOT pee in the potty.
I really wouldn't be any help at all! I have just been lucky to take care of kids that practically potty trained themselves.

Not to show my age or anything, but I couldn't figure out why you guys were so concerned about "fishface" being at Epcot in May. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Then I realized you were not talking about Jack Sparrow's nemesis, but a former Monkee! DUH!!!!!!!!! I've had a bad 24 hours, but that's another topic.... see below.

That is very cute Steph! I need to get off my keester and make some Christmas customs!

Ok, it's my turn to vent......

Yesterday, while getting ready for Rylee, my freezer stopped working and everything was melted!!!!!!!! I thought maybe Abby didn't shut it all the way the night before when she put her milkshake in there. Nope, the whole thing is dead... fridge and all!

THEN.... DH arrives with everyone (7 total!) and tells me that the van battery has been going dead on him consistently over the weekend!

THEN.... I call Sears b/c our fridge compressor is under warranty, they inform me that the service tech has 24hrs to return my call. 24 HOURS!!!!!!! So it could be 5pm today before I hear from him. So, we took everything we could save to my neighbor's spare fridge in their garage which just happened to be empty!!! My silver lining? Maybe!

THEN... While making tortilla chips, I splattered hot grease onto my hand. It's ok, it was only a few drops and only hurts when I wash my hands in hot water. :headache:

If we weren't already scraping to get by, this wouldn't be a problem. But, since dh just all of my trip savings for going to WV and now to buy a van battery, I'm a little upset.

On the upside, RYLEE IS HERE!!!!!!!!!! She loves the Thanksgiving dress I made for her and she told ds "Daddy look at my dress, it's for Thanksdinner!" She crackys me up! I'm most definite that I will have more great stories to keep you ladies entertained for the next few days!!!!

Sorry about the rough day! But, have fun with Rylee! And, then, post lots and lots and lots of pictures!

We're leaving for our trip this afternoon!!   All that work and excitement...can't wait until the 2:30 school bell rings. My dd4 can hardly contain herself. (It's her first trip) She keeps asking if the princesses are going to be for REAL!

I'm jealous!!!!! Have a great time!

Ok, I am very confused. I thought Davy Jones was a Monkee? Was he ever on the Brady bunch as a guest star? I did watch both shows on Nickelodeon as a child, btu they were a little before my time, so maybe I missed something?
Check this out:

Those 10 year old girls are SO ruthless! DD was excited that even her former best friend who now "hates" her told her her shirt was cute. I think that made her day. Those girls are pretty mean to her. She has a new friend this year though, so that definitely helps!

Arminda was very upset last week when one of her friends (Tiffani by name) wasn't speaking to her. She got another friend to find out what was wrong. Tiffani wrote a not to give to Emily to give to Arminda that said, "She called me mean, and Fork Head". Arminda was so upset she was crying when she showed me this note. I on the other hand, started laughing so hard, I could barely stop! FORK HEAD??????!!???? My poor Arminda was so upset, she kept saying, "But Mom, I NEVER called her Fork Head!" Which, of course made me laugh even more! She never called her mean either, but that wasn't as funny. I finally stopped laughing enough to have a talk with Arminda and got her to see how funny Fork Head really was. And, about how all Arminda could do is tell Tiffani that she was sorry that she thought Arminda called her names, but she didn't. Then, leave it at that. Long story just a little shorter, they are friends again (for now). (Hmm, I wonder how many of you actually read that!)
For those of you who were wondering, Davy Jones (from the Monkees, not POTC) had a guest star role on the Brady Bunch. Marsha, Marsha, Marsha got him to come and sing at her school for Prom, I think? He was at the Brady house too. Lucky Marsha! She got all of the guys!
See my YouTube link above to relive the glorious episode.

Sorry about your Series of Unfortunate Events!
Love those books.

Here's a great link to some heart throbs in a musical slide show. YUMMY!!

Now, I probably need to go hide my head in shame...:rolleyes1

I was wondering why he wasn't on your list!
It's not like ACTUALLY killing them, right?" He wanted it so bad how could I say no.QUOTE]
That is so cute!

Wow, you mention 1 little Monkee and look what happens:confused3

I am outta here:moped:

Careful riding around on that moped Cindee!

We watch the elmo potty time video like every day and if you ask her "where does Elmo pee?" she says "in the potty" Dadda, Momma, Mac? All pee in the potty....(me)"Where does Liliana Pee?" (Lily)"No, in my pants:cutie: "

...t.
That is one smart little girl!

:lmao: :rotfl2: (I tried to add one more rotfl smiley, but I was over the picture limit)
I HATE when that happens!

Here is something I made this week. I think I love this fabric so much I might try a corset for Megan with it.

100_1977.jpg

I love these fabrics, especially the plaid and stripes. Are they Debbie Mumm fabrics? I'm thinking the plaid in a corset top and a pair of decoupage jeans....Hmm. Like I don't have enough planned already!

Here's a start on DD's Christmas customs...

We used these pictures for our Christmas cards. It was not fun trying to get the 2 kids to look (let alone smile) at the camera.
