Wanted to post a Valentine's set I did for my DD. Not a lot of ruffles and bows here - she'll wear this to preschool, so I was going for comfy!

VERY cute!! I like that it doesn't have lots of ruffles and bows. The belt adds that special touch, too!

I don't think he'll be too old at all. I think you have to make the outifit appropiate for the age though, DS just turned 5 and I do think he is getting too old for some customs. I think that some he fine still wearing. I just made him a grinch outfit which will fit him next year and he'll wear next year for christmas again.

We might hit disney at the end of the month, depending on DH's work schedule and for sure he'll be wearing all his. I do think I'll start making him less or simpler ones in the near future though.

I'd better keep posting if I want to stay in the top 20! Probably won't be around much today though. I was looking forward to having kids back in school but this morning I have 3 out of 4 kids throwing up.

For whatever reason the server won't let me reply to anything unless I am quoting something...who knows? Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! I haven't been on in soooooo long! I'll never get caught up and I'm not sure I'm even going to try! I went back about 10-15 pages tonight and everything was wonderful as always! I've tried to get on lately but I haven't felt well but I think it's now all past me, hopefully! Now I'm just tired and fall asleep at the drop of a hat but that is better than losing breakfast, lunch and dinner everytime I turn around! Hopefully now I can be a faithful disboutique contributor again!

Oh I so feel for you! I have horrible morning sickness with my pregnancies so I really hope you are past that! It is MISERABLE!

I love watching your videos and seeing Dallas in "action"! Dallas is even cuter in motion, if that's possible! It seems like we have the same opinions on car seats!! I didn't get in 75 reviews last month, only 22. But, I was up on New Year's Eve uploading stuff too! I am going to check out Shared Review, thanks!




I've made almost $1500 on there in the last few months! I could have made more if I was more ambitious (and didn't feel compelled to spend hours on here almost every day). You have to check it out!

WOW, Wveryone! I come back from vacation and there is a ton of pages to go through! I went through a bunch and I love all the outfits and pictures. The WDW cinderella pics are great! I will post pics very soon! I am doing laundry and putting stuff away.
It was cold cold cold in DL and the customs were mostly covered by jackets! I will post by tonight I promiss!

Thanks to everyone who wished me no more morning sickness. I definitely think I'm pretty much done with it now (although I've said this a couple of times!). I'm done with the first trimester as of today so if it disappears I'm ready for it! I had it the whole 41 weeks with my first so this will make me happy! On the positive side, it does keep me from packing on the pounds that I eventually have to take off.

I really do love sewing. It has been so much fun!!!!

I am working on a Little Einstiens jumper and then a pettiskirt next. I love revrob's Vday jeans. That gives me an idea. DD does not love jeans but that is a really cute outfit! I may have to do something like that.

She did tell me she wanted her vday dress to be BIG and ruffled!!! LOL

Thanks for letting me know GloriB did the Marie. That is so cute! I will have to pm her about it. Does anyone know when the DVD comes out? That would be a fun Vday present. The movie and a cute outfit to match.

Just thought I'd let you guys that have toddler sized girls - I was just a Kohl's and they have the "Jumping Beans" brand of toddler capri jeans on sale for 2/$10. They have a mock fly and the back is elasticized. They make GREAT blanks for embellishing. The first custom I purchased was actually made on a very similar pair from Kohl's. The sale price is great in my opinion. I picked up several pair for upcoming designs. Thought I'd share in case anyone is in the market for blanks.

Forgot to add - these are the ones that are folded up on the tables with other t-shirts and stuff. They're not hung up. That may make them easier to find.

OK, what do you guys think? I'm making ds some overalls for our trip. We leave end of Jan. I'm worried if I cut them off and make them shorts it's going to get cold. Of course, I check the FL weather a few days ago and it was 80!!!

Also, do I need stronger heat and bond to make the overalls? I'm having trouble with the fabric not wanting to stick well to the overalls. What am I doing wrong?? 2 pieces of fabric stick together just fine but with the overalls the edges keep coming up.

Are you going to sew around the edges? If so, you don't want to use anything but Heat N Bond Lite, anything else will gum up your machine. You may need to just leave the iron on for a few extra seconds around the edges?
