Hello dezimber
Where at in Riverside do you live? I am right down the street from UCR.

Talk about a small world. I live really close to you. I am on the other side of North High School going toward downtown. My mom was telling that Disneyland is getting stricter about what they allow as far as outside drinks and food that is carried in. Water bottles must be sealed and no sippy cups. I am in shock! When I went back in '05 they checked bags but seamed pretty lenient.:confused3

Good morning, everyone. Sorry I haven't been around lately. With DD4's MRSA scare, I was out for awhile. And now I have some thyroid issues. I have to get a biopsy done on Dec 26. Merry Christmas to me. :sad2: I've been getting bloodwork and some tests done so not much time for the boards or sewing.

I do have a few things I need to post. Stripwork dresses and an I Spy bag. And I have to finish the kids winter dresses and a blanket or two.

LOVE the quilts. What's the other side of them look like? Are they rag quilts? That's what I'm planning on making. I have some of my squares cut. At least I've gotten that far!

I have yet to get my photopass cd, should be coming this week, but I had a few pics that I had taken at WDW to share with everyone!

We had a lot of fun and as soon as I get the other pics I will have a TON more to post!

LOVE the pics from the World! The outfits and your DDs are gorgeous!

Well, I guess everyone is busy tonight! I have been dealing with my 2 kids for the past 4 hours!:scared1: My DD4 has asthma and it was really bad tonight!:scared: I gave her a breathing treatment and her inhaler several times and it just wasn't getting any better. I was preparing for an emergency room visit! Luckily I got her calm and she finally settled down, and is sleeping at the moment! We will see how long it lasts. My one year old has been screaming and wanting me to hold her for the past two hours! She went to sleep around six and woke up an hour later and I just got her back to sleep! I was planning on doing some sewing tonight but I am EXHAUSTED! Those two have worn me out!:faint:

 You have had a hard week, with the decorations and then this! I hope the girls are feeling better this morning and you can get some rest. Stick them in front of the Disney channel and rest on the couch if you can.

And I don't think I commented on your Disney pictures: fabulous! The girls look so happy and cute in their customs!

I told Josephine and she said - "what's famous".. hehe she is so humble!

It's the craze that's sweeping the nation! :cheer2: I'm just glad I don't have the only one who is copying her!

Neat! I would like to see the back too.

 I hope the biopsy goes well and you're ok. I would love to see your dresses and bag. I had to sit Megan down and show her the Christmas projects waiting to be done and ask her which she wanted first because it's time to admit I can't do them all!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up, I have little tears in my rotator cuff and sometimes they really bother me. I think I have been doing too much hunching over the dining room table so I have been having a lot of pain. I do come and admire everyone's work: it is great! I finished a doll jacket to match Megan's, which I'll try to take pictures of after she goes to school (I've learned my lesson).

This was a few years ago. DS in the photo is now 8.

DH shoveled a path to the playground--notice all the broken branches on the ground. Our old house had tons of trees and every storm, we would have to clean up branches.

th_P1010343.jpg

I had to throw this one in. It was last weekend. DS8 built the beginnings of a snow fort all by himself, then borrowed my camera to take photos. I just discovered these yesterday when I was getting photos off the camera.

I love snow! The first day or in pictures!

WOW! is all I can say! I never imagined how cute one of these could be!

I cannot imagine disney not letting in sippy cups. They'll let empty ones in right?

Prayers and well wishes coming to both of you! Get better soon!

You have the right to vent about that. People are so mean, I had to use a nice word. The build-a-bear clothes are great.

Laura

I agree, mean is a nice word!;)

Wow awesome pics...your girls are just adorable...I love the cute customs!!! :cutie:

Thank you!

The girls look like they are having a blast!

They were! We had so much fun my DH wants to go back for a quick trip in Feb!

I'm glad you averted a trip to the emergency room. That must be realy scary though. Sorry you had such a rough night.

Thank you! She was up almost ALL night. It scares me when she can barely breathe!:scared1:

What is wrong with people? I think it must be the same people that stole the pumpkin and balloon off my baby son's GRAVE!!! It wasn't too long after he died, so when I showed up and it the decorations were stolen I was SO upset! I just hope Karma catches up! I love all the photos, especially the ones from the World. I am getting so excited! OMG I just realized we are leaving 1 month from tomorrow!   I got my ME stuff the other day and some other travel info in the mail today! (And a lovely princess FQ from My*2*angels thank you very much!) I love your DD's pink and yellow outfits so much! I even ran out and bought that pillow case. I just finished an outfit for DD2 using the Cinderella from the other side of the pillowcase. I'm waiting to see those quilt tops! I hope they are up by the time I'm done with this message! I'm going to go look for snow photos, although my best was pre-digital. DH's car was completely buried, just a small bump in the mountain of snow.

The nerve of people to take something off of a baby's grave! I can't understand what you could be thinking at a time like that! People are so MEAN! and like Laura said, that is a NICE word for them! I am so glad you got your FQ! I was beginning to wonder if anyone was getting them. Can't wait to see the Cinderella outfit, hurry and post pics!

Thanks! DD4 is a little better! I WISH my children would sit and watch tv but they WON'T!:sad1: We had a lot of fun at Disney, we want to go back! Can't wait to see what you made for the doll!

Double post ~ sorry!

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I'm sorry you are having trouble Steph. That sounds painfull, I'm suprised you can sew at all! Ouch.

Oh thanks, sorry for complaining. It's just sore, so I have been putting Megan's Boo Boo Bear on it (kind of like an ice pack). As far as ailments go, it's really not bad, so I feel guilty for complaining. Maybe it's the cold weather making it worse lately! At least no snow!

Here is the dolly jacket. The pattern called for a 5 inch separating zipper, which I could not find. I decided that it didn't need to be closed, LOL!

Oh, this pose is for Lori, it's the best I could do!

That is so cute!! I love all of the doll clothes that you've made!

I've been busy finishing some Christmas presents. I've made 2 pairs of pajama pants for my nephews (they still need a waistband), 2 sets of matching mommy and daughter mickey applique tees for my sisters in law (need to get a 2t still for one of the sets.) nightgowns for DD and her Jess doll. I ran out of fabric for the tops of the nightgowns so It's off to Joann's today!! I am going to do a Hannah Montana decoupage set for DD and some pajama/lounge pants for DS then I (think) I'll be all done!! It's killing me that I'll start something but can't finish it because I don't have something for it!!

Amy- what great pictures. Looks like the kids had a blast!! I am starting to have WDW withdraw now. Thanks so much for sharing them w/ us!

My new job is exactly 3 miles from home and I am thinking about walking to and from work. Reduce my carbon foot print and maybe my waistline a bit. I just hate the thought of adding 2 hours of travel to my work day. We'll see.
...t.

Fantastic pictures!!! You guys are all too cute! I love the picture of your daughter resting on your husband's lap! So sweet!!! Thank you so much for posting these!

Thanks for looking!! We did have a great trip. How is the new job going Tifani?

Do you guys include a little letter about the family in the christmas cards?

I have sent them in the past, but just haven't taken the time to do one recently. I do write a short note in a few cards to some family members and friends. I love receiving letters. I think it's great to catch up with what others have been doing during the year.

Clutterbug- CUTE photos!!!! Thanks for sharing them!

Everyone- Thanks SO much for sending all the squares! I'm thrilled at how many cool and unique ones I received!!!!! I'm overwelmed at everyones' generosity!!!!!!!

Thanks for looking!! I can't wait to see a picture of your quilt!

Hi Everyone...well I finally graduated from school. I'm thrilled. Now I have to find a real job...LOL...

CONGRATULATIONS!!   I bet your new dresses are beautiful!

Well, hey there twin!! :thumbsup2 We have a busy week playing catch up with everything, but I'll try to get a couple posted for you.

I made this shirt for my BIL's girlfriend's daughter. She loves it! She's in third grade and was drooling :hyper: over all the customs in the photobucket account, unlike my 1st grade niece who was puking over them. :crazy2: YAY!!! Somebody to make customs for!!! :thumbsup2

That came out really cute!! Glad to hear that you found someone to sew for!!

I stayed up way to late to finish this, broke two needles, but I learned to make a flat fell hem!

100_2057.jpg

I love it!! My kids love wearing fleece so I'm going to attempt a few projects after the holidays.

Great pictures. Looks like you had a lot of fun. I love the pirate Mickey shirt.[\QUOTE]

Thanks!

Okay, a million pictures post.

The Grinch - I have not put the ornament on the back of the leg yet. I had originally planned on it but then wasn't sure, but it needs something.

The jacket is soooo cute! However, I LOVE the pose! I just burst out laughing when I saw the doll doing the jojo pose!:rotfl2: :rotfl: I can't wait to make some clothes for DD4's new baby. However, I will have to do it later because she is already out of school!

I AM GETTING MY VERY OWN SEWING MACHINE FOR CHRISTMAS!   My husband ordered it and is supposedly getting it tomorrow! I have asked to get it early so I can finish some of this sewing I need to do, but my DD4 says NO WAY! She wants to give it to me on Christmas day (she doesn't know that I know about it, she wants it to be a surprise!) I am just excited that I will have a machine of my very own!:cool1:

Sorry I have not been around lately. I won't go into detail just say I have been busy.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we had family pics done. I made the outfits the girls wore and fixed shirts for me and the guys to go together. The photographer kept calling us the gingerbread family. She went nuts over the girls' skirts.

I thought she would never stop taking pics of the girls. My sil was getting upset, because she set the whole thing up to get family pics for my MIL and thought her family should get more attention. :rotfl:

When I get a chance (most likely after the Holidays) I will try to post pics of the outfits I have been making for the girls. You can sorta see the skirts in the signature pic. The avatar is my little family. I didn't bother downloading the whole family pic.
