I'll be looking for you. We get picked up at 4:30 tomorrow morning. We land around 10 am, a little before, so we're going to head out to grab some supplies for snacks, drinks, etc. and hopefully we'll have a room early and not have to wait until 4.

My dh will help by loading the car tomorrow night! :headache: Oh yeah, and he packed his own clothes, not by choice but because I told him he could go naked for all I cared!!!

I'm so jealous of all you ladies getting ready to head to the World. Have a fabulous time! Take lots of pics and post them when you return.

Hi Everyone,

GREAT OUTFITS!!!!

Does anyone have a good "present" design that I could use for an applique??

Thanks for checking, Wendy

I'm thinking just a square or a rectangle, add ric rac or ribbon that intersects in the middle like a ribbon wrapped around a present would be, add a ribbon bow, and you're set!

Very cute, all of them!

Leslie, what a great find!

tarazandra, I lost your post, but loved the pics!!

I know how you feel, I've been trying to pack all day and dd2 keeps running in and grabbing stuff "what's this mommy" and takes off before I can stop her. I bet I've packed her Minnie Ears a dozen time!!!!!!

I'm making a mental note of the outfits, so I can look for you!

I sure am glad he decided to pack clothes then!

i have osteo-arthritis and the syptoms you describe are just like mine i have a really hard time when it is cold so a snow state i am finding is not the best for me... my body will shut down when it is too cold and lil things like my ankles hurt.

I have osteo-arthritis, too... and I was thinking the same thing. Mine is bad in the morning when I am very stiff. By mid-day I'm warmed up and feeling better, but then it comes back in the evening. (worse when it's cold and wet, too. Or, strangely, when I'm stressed out.) Nasty stuff. Mine's mainly in my hands and knees.

I was wondering if you had ever tried doing a paraffin dip first thing in the am for your hands? I am an Occupational therapist, and this is something that we do in the clinic, and also recommend that our patients do at home. The paraffin heat seems to really "soak into" the joints better than anything else! We do like 5 dips, wrap in saran wrap and then wrap with a towel to keep the heat in!!! Just an idea since paraffin baths are available everywhere this time of year!!!!:wizard:

Would this happen to be the shamu??? ;) Can't wait to see Santa and the whole polar express theme!

I think I have pics of most of the other "characters" you mentioned as well - We LOVE the halloween theming and it seems to get better every year.

Yep, That is his! I think the themeing is getting better too (they started listening to him LOL)

We're going friday to see santa at seaworld - I figure with passes it's easier for me to take them there than the mall - how was the polar express???

What stuff did your sweetie do for halloween - we were there almost every weekend in October!

Hi...We were there many times over Halloween too, and plan on going this weekend!.Small world..huh?

OK, just for fun, here is my dd's recital costume from last year. The umbrella was their prop. Pretty big for 2.5 to 5 year olds!

Finally a picture that makes me think I MIGHT think about letting Little take dance. b/c the first time she comes home w/ a dance outfit w/ no middle or missing a shoulder- illusion material or not...we are D-O-N-E. I think she'll probably have to stick to ballet. I am FAR from a modest person( in the sense that I could walk around a womens dressing room in my underwear without blinking...), but there is a rule in my house that your pants must cover your underwear at all times (boys and girls) and that after 5 yo your shirt must meet your pants at all times.

Way behind, but I had to jump in here! I try very hard to remember that there is only one F in your name, and I think that if you look back through my recent posts, you will notice that I usually spell it correctly! ;)

Carefull, I will just start caling you Tif!

And I thank you for that...really I don't care at all (so long as you DON'T call me Tiff) it was just a comeback for your bratty sister.

Don't have much time...as always you ladies are doing a loverly job!! I am SOOO jealous. I don't start my new job yet (we're still waiting, my references were great, they're checking my credit now:scared1: ....so we'll see) A job has opened up where B's dad works so he is going to talk to his boss about hiring B on and he'll train him. I hope that works out. It's considerably less money but enough and my FIL got a $2 raise after the first 90 days so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

So with the mortgage due and NO money and well the whole NO money thing and when I say NO I mean NO, none, zero zilch I have been putting stuff in garage sales and cleaning friends houses and scraping out equipment from the few installs B has done... I have decided that I am not going to make Lily a christmas dress and it breaks my heart.
OF course I may change my mind if I make the mortgage on friday, we'll see. But I really wanted to make her something special especially after seeing how cute all of your creations are. I think her dress from last year will still fit and at sometime I have to get my head out of the clouds and be practical. I don't like to do that...hence my new fasination w/ cruise planning. I tend to get through tuff times by looking forward to better ones. But w/ a job around the corner for both of us and school starting in Jan. I'm sure things will be looking up in no time.

I hope I'll be on to comment more on everything sometime in the next couple of days...possibly tomorrow, the brain has to build a popsicle stick bridge for school so we'll be at my inlaws..

'Til then
...t.

PS Steph I love your poodle skirt!

Now See I KNEW we had something in common!:cool1: :cool1: My DD refuses to wear anything without a middle (I have NO problem with that ) makes buying bathing suits fun LOL.
Between the makeup and the outfits, I think dance is out for my DD. :rolleyes1

Lisa, are you going to see Shell's Santa? :cool1: (never mind the big fish that jumps out of the water) :lmao: :lmao:

Cindee

Hey girl...of course...that's the whole reason we're going...We're Shell fans...shouldn't there be a fan club or something...:rotfl:
Forget the fish...anyone can teach a little fishy to jump....now creating a figure flattering, cute red suit for an obese elderly gentleman...now that's a task worth undertaking...
LOL...

No. I've never tried this. Heat feels really good on my hands, but my rheumatologist (which, of course, I can't spell!) said that "cool" was better for my joints than heat. She suggested swimming in the morning to get my joints loose, but not add heat... but pools are few and far between around here and memberships are expensive. Thanks for the idea though... on particularly bad days, I might just try it!

WOW ! Everyone has posted some great items! I went to a Phx. Suns game tonight so was out and not able to reply till now! Everyone has been doing some great sets. I'll have some new pics this weekend to show everyone! WOOHOOO!

I'm up to about $325 on expotv.com this month (:woohoo:), so I figure I can take some time off from doing reviews.

I have an avatar! I have an avatar! Whoohooo!
You ROCK!!!:rockband: I love it!

I'm not sure exactly what is causing the pain but I wake most mornings with my wrists and forearms aching.
That really stinks, especially for a seamstress!! I hope it gets better, or that you can figure out what is causing the pain! I had carpal tunnel surgery in both hands a few years ago. I didn't have a lot of numbness, but a lot of pain. My hands and arms would feel like they were on fire from the shoulder on down sometimes. They said it was pretty severe. My sister had the illustrious honor of being the youngest patient ever operated on (at that office) when she had carpal tunnel surgery at 20 (is that right?).

Oh my gosh, I think I'm in love!!! I kept looking at these Cinderella and Belle outfits, then scrolling down, then going back up and staring at them some more. They are FANTASTIC!!!!! I am excited for you! Have fun on your trip and make sure to report back when you get home!!

Holy cow!! That's a great deal! Not only that, but I think you set the record for the longest file name for a picture in history :rotfl2: : 47b7cf06b3127cceb09aebd6adc700000025101AZsXLhszbMY

Remember how Heather said that neither of us like to be wrong? This ought to convince you how true that is.
I felt the need to prove my innocence in the Tifani spelling scandal. Here are some of my latests quotes of me referencing Tifani (t-beri):
I had to go back almost two months to find a quote wher I had used two f's October 4, to be exact.
Ok, back to your reguarly scheduled postings!
:rotfl2:Oh Teresa, that's a sickness, really! :lmao:

The two put together:

I love it! She looks absolutely adorable!!

Woo-hoo!!:woohoo: You better come back after your trip and not forget about us!! The outfits are GREAT, and would you look at those gorgeous kids!

Aw...my little virtual niece is so adorable!!

I love the Piglet picture, how sweet! It's great to see all of these familiar outfits "in use" at the parks! Tessa was wearing jeans today exactly like the ones your oldest DD is wearing in the last pictures!!

He had a complication from a routine procedure that only happens to 1 in every 400,000 people. He lost a lot of blood and is extrememly weak. His iron is very low.
Oh no!! One place it's never good to be special is in the hospital. I'll say a prayer for him.

Anyone have any patterns they'd like to recommend? I saw the crocheted one on Teresajoy's links, but you have to sign up for it, and I didn't bother because I don't know if I really want crocheted ones...the ones I've seen here looked like fur, not yarn. I went to :wizard: to look, and that was interesting because they had fur cuffs of all sorts, even the adult variety with a key :rolleyes1

Thanks Cindee, now I don't feel like I'm the only one.

I had a bunch of multi-quotes going and then my computer locked up- UGH!!!!!

Thanks Cindee, now I don't feel like I'm the only one.

And I thank you for that...really I don't care at all (so long as you DON'T call me Tiff) it was just a comeback for your bratty sister.
You're not. I have issues with Tessa's dressing in anything remotely suggestive. She's just a little girl, but still...I even turned her Little Mermaid shirred tube dress into a skirt because it kept falling down too low.

I'm Teresa's only sister...HEY, WAIT a minute!!!

Forget the fish...anyone can teach a little fishy to jump...
I know someone who can teach fish to play dead...

I have a couple of pairs of candy cane striped leggings, I hope they aren't too much with the minnie dot/christmas gang top.
What a bunch of cute little jumpers! I think the striped tights will look adorable with the Minnie dot outfit!

 One of my friend's moms used to say "God makes kids cute to convince you to keep them." My friend was only partially amused. :)

LOVE the little outfits you've made your daughter! Too stinkin' cute. :) I love the twirly skirts and would totally copy you ... but I'm probably a little old for the style. :)
Hey you!!! Trying to sneak under the radar with your very first post on this thread. Well, you're too funny to go unnoticed, so :welcome: party:

I'm really liking that with the black shirt underneath! Very cute!!

Would you look at that, even your MOM is cute!

I was looking at fabric at Wal-Mart (I know everyone's shocked right?) & they have 3 new Hannah Montana fabrics. One cotton, one flannel & one satin (possibly flannel backed, I don't remember for sure). I thought I should share since I know some of you have girls that are really into Hannah.
I saw that too, it was cool! The satin was flannel backed. I was thinking my niece, Casey, would love some jammies made out of that, but it was $7something and I'm way too cheap!

All of the outfits are so cute!! I'm thinking we need to set your little Minnie up with my little Mickey. He loves older women!:thumbsup2

This got it up high away from the cat and bunny and gave us surface space for presents. We also put a Christmas table cloth on the table/under the tree.
You have a bunny!? We had a bunny named Jed (or Jedder bunny) long ago. I almost wrote "a few years ago", but it's been 13 years. Time flies!!

We leave in 4 days!!!

th_morganandsanta.jpg

(and since I NEVER mention him.... "Boast" warning! The suit Santa is wearing was made from a drawing my dear sweetie did!!!!!! The Elves were his too but the only picture I got of the elve was a little scary LOL (The preformer not the outfit) If anyone went to SW for the Halloween thing- you probably saw A LOT of his work.

Cindee
Ok, wait a minute here! Dear sweetie=?? (hubby, boy friend, fiance....??)AND, he works for SW?? Designing outfits?? That is very very cool! We are talking about going to SW in May, will any of his work be on display then?

We had a great trip. The weather was wonderful & the girls had soooooooo much fun. I was very sad to leave, but there's talk of going back in 2 years!
I was quickly scrolling up the page, and for a minute there, I thought you were me! A MUCH cuter version of me, but there is a resemblence there! I love these park pictures!! Your kids are so adorable!
