While I was out looking for a serger threader at a small fabric shop I go to every now and again, I noticed a backroom that I had never seen before. In there, they had all of their deeply discounted items. Guess what? I found the most DARLING Chip & Dale fabric!! I've never even seen Chip & Dale fabric before and this was not only incredible quality at an unbelieveable price (1.99/yd.)--but it's simply TDF!! It's one of the cutest Disney prints I've seen in a while and it's super, super RARE! They had lots of it. I bought only about 2 yards, but I'm tempted to go back for more. It'd be perfect for a boy or a girl! I really love it!
I was also going to ask you all, several pages back somebody mentioned that they'd be willing to pick up some from "Friends Around the World" fabric at their Hancocks and ship to those who wanted it but couldn't get it. I'd love to find out who this was and see if they could possibly pick some up for me. Have fun sewing and playing with your kiddos today everyone!
OMG - that is too cute!! You wouldn't be willing to pick up a couple of yards for me, would you???I've had a lot of requests for pictures of the Chip & Dale fabric. I've had trouble posting pictures in the past, so lets give this a shot...testing...testing....1....2.....3! To get an idea of scale, The apples are just a little smaller than a quarter.

These aren't the best pics of her dress, but the others are not uploaded yet.
My daughter makes this terrible squishy face when the cameras out and says Cheese, we can hardly get a picture of her not making it!

The background is a really light GREEN with TINY darker green dots with various browns, creams, and burgandy as accents.

Congratulations! You're the FIRST man to post on the thread! Pull up a chair and get comfortable. We have a lot of fun here. Your wife is rather lucky to have such a supportive DH. A lot of our DHS roll their eyes and hide their pocketbooks when in comes to our at our little Disney boutique obsession. Your wife did a FANTASTIC job on your DDs ourfits. My highest compliments to the seamstress!

hi everyone.
i really love the shoes that have been posted recently. i might try and do something like that for my ds8- he likes anything at the moment that has skulls on it. he has been wanting me to make him something like some of the other mums on here have mentioned.
i've been brainstoming a ariel top for dd6. i have a plain white singlet top (the same kind as the one i used for the strawberry shortcake top, i brought a heap of them because they were reduced to $2 as it is winter here) i would like to do ariels whole body with her face on the front but her body continues around one side of dd to finish with her fins on her back. does that make sense?
i have some pictures of the dresses i have been working on. i done shrilling(?i think thats what it is called) on the top, approx 15 lines of it. i still have to add ribbons to tahlias princess dress i dont like the way it looks too old for her wthout them, plus she was jumping on the trampoline earlier and almost lost it much to the amusment of her older brother! i have also made her one using the ariel bubble fabric but its not finished yet. Ash decided she didn't want her picture taken again, so i took one of her back anyway.
i will have to post them later as photobucket is down for maintenance?!
