What do you all think of this dress? Too traditional?

I think it's darling. Love the pantaloons. I'ts not over the top..... UNLESS you put your DD in all that makeup and hairspray. TO ME That makes it over the top

A friend of mine showed me a website today that sells ribbon by the yard and now I can't remember it, and it's too late to call her. It was www . ribbon ?? . com. I've searched Google and can't find it. Anyone have a site they use & would recommend?

Also, I make pillowcase dresses/tops using the elastic and bias binding. Can someone tell me where to find the casing/ribbon instructions?

Thanks for saving me soooo much time. I knew someone would come through. I just spent the weekend with just myself and my DS1. The others went camping. I used every free moment fabric shopping and sewing. Now I just need models and my digital camera to post pictures. I will try when they get home this afternoon. Maybe the pillowcase dress will be done too.

Yippeee!!! I finished my DD's Jumper! It took many hours but I am pretty happy with it! I made all the patterns for the appliques free hand!

I think pretty much every online pattern that has been posted on this site is there, and then some I found myself. I'm trying to organize them, so hopefully someone might find it useful! Most are in the sewing folder. (But, I bet everyone would have figured that out!)

Please note that it's illegal to use the photos of a minor child without the express written consent of their parent or guardian. Also, stealing someones photos and copying their outfits for sale to others is also NOT nice.

please contact the original poster and ask them to edit your pictures off of the board. they can do that. I do not think anyone is stealing ideas for selling. I think most are making outfits for there personal trips to disney at a fraction of a sellers price. and having fun learning to sew

There is the cutest outfit that I have ever seen...Look under pettiskirt...it's the last listing, the navy uniform...OMG,,I am totally making this. I tried to copy her pictures... however, the seller is on to me, and won't let me. So I found another way...LOL. I took a photo of the screen. I have the most perfect jacket. On our last Disney cruise, My dd fell in love with Brent Davies, the cruise director and she had to have his jacket. So she has one. Now I know what to do with it....!!!!! yea

Hi, Jessie,

I'm not sure which outfit is the one with your daughter, and I have an idea of which one it is (out of two possibilities). The best way for you to handle it is to find the original post that the pic is in, and down in the left corner of the post there will be a triangle with an exclamation point in it. Click that triangle and write exactly what you wrote above and ask for the pic and each post that it was quoted in to be removed. The mods will take care of it.

Or the OP can remove the photo where they hosted it, and it will cut all the links where it has been quoted.

Well I had to go and make an apron top. I'm so pathetic. I used some old Mickey and Minnie dot fabric that I had laying around. I can't wait for my kids to get up, so I can try it on them. then if it fits right, I will copy it in the red and white dot. like the one listed..

It took me just under an hour... not too bad, but it definately needs some extra trim or maybe some of those Mickey head buttons...
