ok my fellow disers I have 2 questions!
1. I made the lovely tulle skirt out of that pink/black walmart mickey fabric! Do you think a black tank top with the same mickey fabric as the mickey siloutte applique is too dark for summer? Or should I stick with a standard white.
2. We are going july 7th - 14th any other disers going then!

I was thinking the same thing today, I know at Walmart, they have matching tanks in dark and light pink for 2.88. I bought one of these, but then decided to make a different style top.
What about a light pink tank, with a siloutte of the Mickey in the black and pink polka dot?

I only saw the dark pink ones and that does not match well. I have one here at the house. but have the black and it is sharp! Just curious that it may be tooo dark and be too hot for the july sun?

Does anyone know if I can wash chenille fabric? I assume I can, but never worked with it before. Also can I iron it? Not so much it, but wonder under onto it?

I just love the Beaches and Cream outfit! Do you recall where you bought the fabric? I like all the outfits! I just bought that Pooh fabric at Walmart, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet though.

I really like the ice cream cone fabric too.

Very inventive! I think they are very cute!

ok here is a picture of the skirt with the black shirt! Now the bottome length is not hemmed it needs to go up an inch so don't be alarmed! Oh and her smile is crooked, but wanted to show the outfit on! do you think this is tooo hot for july? the pink and black tulle look cute. the dark pink shirt made the skirt look more red

I really like it with the black tank. I think you'd have to be careful matching a pink since there's so much pink in the skirt. What look are you going for? I think pink would look more "cutesy" while the black is more hip/sassy.

I know it isn't clothes, but I'm so excited. A while back, someone sent me a template for an autograph album. It has over 100 characters and today I finally got it cut and bound with the coil binding. Office Max did it for 5 dollars.

That is really cute. I had wanted to do one too but no one was willing to share the templates. I asked on two different of the threads and this one. Oh well.

Here's what I did with the Mickey swirl fabric. I DON'T sew, so this is as good as it gets!! DD is in the pool with DH so maybe I'll post pics. with her wearing it later. I plan on making matching bows too. We're going in February so jeans won't be too hot!

I might add a bow and make it minnie

I just bought this fabric today and I think the black looks awesome. Actually, it will be the only way I can get my own DD to wear it-she just would not go for a whole pink/cutsey thing. Love all the ideas!

I have got to say that I LOVE everything on this thread, from the newbies to the veterans, but this has got to be my FAVORITE! I like something more non mickey looking and this fits my taste perfect! GREAT job and creativity!
