I agree with you. I'm annoyed at the "stupid" people, too. :sad2: Now I'll have 3 different places to check out instead of just one. How will I ever get anything done now? :confused3 It was bad enough with only this site. Add 2 more, and I'll never get off this chair.:rotfl:

Chantell

At least it's easier to keep up with this thread now! :goodvibes

Unless another DIS'er gets there first for the pink fabric. :lmao: When I spotted it at Wal-Mart, I just bought the whole bolt. Although, we have 2 Wal-Marts near us. I saw it at the 2nd one and didn't buy more. I have no idea what I'm going to do with the fabric yet but I just love it, so knew I had better buy it NOW while I found it. I think I ended up with about 8 yards of it. At the one I saw it at, it was on the New Arrivals shelf we have.

me too!!! I bought it and then looked at it every evening thinking about WHAT to do with it!!!

Castle creations- I hope you were feeling well enough to watch the travel channel tonight. They featured the Disney cruise line and Brent was on there quiet a bit! And he was talking, too!  If that doesn't make you feel better, I don't know what will!:thumbsup2

Hi!! Yes I did see my husband, , on TV last night...sigh...:lmao:
He's so dreamy!! Anyhow, it did cheer me up to see the show. I only caught the last half but it was so fun to see it. I went to bed with happy dreams of being back on the DCL.
I'm starting to feel better, but since I have so much work to do around the house I'm not getting the rest I should.
Now I'm off to do homework...Yuck.
Do I sound like a kid or what?:lmao:

I dont think I have enough posts to pm,I dont know how to do it. You know by people leaving here, you are letting them win in a way by driving you away from your own board and letting them know "they got ya". Castle creations, you should be the one notifying ebay of harrassment. you could forward those emails to them you recieved. As far as someone claiming you copied them ,let them be the ones to prove that with a dated ebay sale page. was it last year? Ebay would laugh at them. There are many sellers on ebay selling the exact same type of dresses, no one is bothering them.Does someone think that by emailing a buyer and saying the dress they want for over 100 dollars less than theirs was copied from them is going to bother someone?

I'm busy sewing for a day and now there's two new boards? I need to go back to find what's going on..

Anyway, I'd love an invite. I'm sad everyone is splitting up.:sad1: All of you have inspired me to try sewing, and I'm loving it.

I've got three new outfits to show off. Two originals, and one I copycatted (is that a word?) off e-bay. Now if I can just get my girl to model for me...

I have to agree with you. I don't really get why it was a big deal that the other sellers were upset. Too bad! I am going to check out the other boards, but I am not sure how much time I am going to have to post on 3 seperate boards!!!:scared: I haven't cleaned my bathrooms in a month as it is with just this one board!!!!

Is anybody else thinking Fall yet???? I am trying to come up with some ideas for Fall. Once Drew is in Kindergarten I plan on trying my hand at ebay! I am really glad I have something to work on that I am excited about. It is helping me not stress out about my baby being a "big girl".:sad1:

The really sad thing is that now that I am going to have time to actually get some sewing done, my kids are almost too big to wear the stuff!!!! Oh well, I guess I'll have to sew for friends and ebay.

Is it just me, or is anyone else sad that the people on here are going to two different chat rooms? It was nice having it all here in one spot. I hate when the "stupid" people ruin it for everyone!   To the snarky people out there who reported people on here simply showing pictures, or listing their stuff on e-bay, I hope you are satisified and happy.  You ruined a perfectly good thing:headache:

Now I'm off to join the other groups:thumbsup2

I agree, I am very sad about this. I wish everyone would just stick it out here! Especially since it seems that I've been "blackballed" from the yahoo group. :confused3 Maybe not, but I sent PMs yesterday, and I see other people that requested after me are saying they are allready part of the new groups. (and I just double checked, my email was included)So, I REALLY think everyone should just stay here! :thumbsup2

Very, very cute!!! The girls will get lots of attention in those dresses. I laughed at a comment you posted a few days ago....something along the lines of "if you think this dress is too fru-fru, you should see what DD usually wears"! I have a daughter like that, too!

Is there a pattern you can post for the t-shirt dress? I checked your sister's website (great website, btw) under dresses and didn't see it there....?

TIA!
Lisa
Thanks for the compliments to me and my sister! I have added the bookmark to the site now. Would have done it sooner if I had it....:rolleyes1

YES! I totally agree!

Nope...just have them pick out the patterns and try your hand at those. May not be Disney but I'm completely starting to get into this. I am thinking of making DD some back to school outfits instead of buying things. She has picked out several patterns, the fabrics, etc... She even helps do some of the sewing (but somehow I still end up doing most of it. :lmao: ).

The boys are another story though. Of course, I now have a pattern for myself too that I want to try my hand at if I can ever get around to actually working on the projects.

How does everyone keep their "projects" organized? I have so many that I can't keep track and I have so many that I don't even know where to start! Any spreadsheet ideas?? I tried to motivate myself to make one but my brain is lazy today... anyone want to share their ideas??

I drew sketches in the back of our vacation journal. It's just a little notebook I bought to write down our confirmation #s, ADRs, etc. I flipped to the back and drew pictures of all DDs outfits for the trip (and I colored them in, too :)) and made a list of al the outfits so I know what I need to work on. Not as good as a spreadsheet, but it has all my projects in one place.

Here's my first attempt at ruffled jeans. I have to say they were pretty easy! I'm thinking about actually turning this into a Donald Duck outfit. When I was kid I remember the song M-I-C-K-E-Y- M-O-U-S-E, and Donald would butt in with his name. All the faint mickeys just reminded me of that, plus it's the right colors for him!

Now she can twirl a top! Just can't seem to get lift off with the skirts yet!

Here's a close up of the fabric. I got it at joanns. It would for great for boys shirt or accent for a man's shirt for those of you looking for boy stuff.

It's so cute! So, is your daughter. She's such a beautiful girl! I love the Donald Duck idea. You don't see very many Donald Duck outfits. You gotta love the twirl! My DD really, really, really, really (she added a few more reallys, but you get the point) wants a twirly skirt!

That is adorable! I love the idea of making it a Donald Duck outfit! Your daughter is a cutie!

It's okay Teresa, I still love you! We don't need to be part of the "yahoo clique"! :cool1: I didn't ask to be invited because I'm not real interested in buying or selling this stuff on ebay and I can't keep up with more messageboards!

Does anyone know if there is a pattern linked or tutorial posted for the twirl skirt that has all the vertical strips of fabric? I've been trying to look back and search, but I can't find it.

karrierock - that outfit is darling and I LOVE that fabric! The blue is beautiful.

I think you did a great job on this. Did you use a pattern for the top?

I started my fall clothes shopping already. Im trying to pick up a few things for the girls. Im looking on ebay for ideas everyday,my girls wear disney all year round. The boys I can get pretty easy in the mall but girls you can do so much with, theres so much variety out there.I need to start early so theres time to order when I see things I cant live without. I love some of those really high priced outfits too but when you have two, you just cant buy $300. a piece outfits. That would be $600. for one outfit for 4 yr olds! I dont mind even 150. apiece for something special but thats pushing it.
