Yeah, I'm gonna have to start leaving a postit next to the monitor of which page I left off on.
If you haven't found them yet, I found these Disney fabric squares (8.5") w. classic dis scenes there are 15 diff. designs but they come only 1 in a pkg. I think they were originally 9$ and change and I found them clearanced, in the craft section, down to 3$
Thought they might fuel some of your creative juices!!

Sorry I was typing w/ a toddler in my lap. She was beating me w/ a pair of knitting needles...
1. By "If you haven't found..." I was refering to these squares, I tend to post things everyone already knows![]()
2. I meant to say they were at Walmart in the craft section. I also found those scrap book Mickey icon button/stickers everyone loves but not clearanced![]()
In the scrap book section they also had an embroidered mickey mouse "sticker" that would be great for some mickey overalls.
...t.
you know hawaiian themed w/ mickey is hard to find. Here is an outfit I pulled out of the suitcase to take a picture for you. I made this for the lilo and stitch breakfast at the Poly. We have the breakfast next friday! My oldest (6) has a tutu skirt set, but she is almost just too h\old for that stly. but you could do a fun shorts set with this fabric. it is easy to find right now.

Okay ladies, which one do you think? I have spent tons of time searching, and this is all I have found. Neither is an exact match![]()

My DD has been sick for the last two daysbut, that meant she slept a lot, so I got a chance to finish my patchwork twirl skirt.
She's still not feeling up-to-snuff, so the pictures aren't fantastic (she refused to twirl, although after a while I noticed she was swishing her hips as she walked to make the skirt flounce. It was pretty funny.)
This skirt was definitely a learning experience...but I'm happy with the way it turned out (I love Classic Pooh, and we're going to breakfast at CP). I have a feeling the next one will go more smoothly!

Before I go to bed I wanted to show the outfit I made DD last year, and then she wore it again this year. She has worn it plenty of times inbetweenAlso the shirt my DS is wearing I made for him last year, it's all appliqued. No special shirt this year
I made myself a skirt to match DD (last year) I got a lot more comments on it this year over last.

I made this for my son yesterday

I bought the purple fabric for DD and then when I went back a couple months later they had the coordinating Fabric so I got some of that yesterday.

I got the BUzz fabric at Hobby Lobby and I am going to make another romper for my son

JoAnn's had this adorable Mickey halloween print so I am going to make trick-or-treat bags for the kids out of it. Along with the Boo fabric. I wish we were going to the MNSSHP.

I bought the swirly Mickey fabric at Joann's a couple months ago. So yesterday I went back to find another fabric to pair it with and tone down the bright green and they had this matching teal green with the Disney fabrics. They match perfectly. They had lots of solid colors to coordinate and they had some of that really big polka dot stuff with Mickey and Minnie.

Lots of Sewing projects but I have to do housework because I am hosting a scrapbooking party tomorrow.
Love all the recent outfits! I don't have enough time to go back and respond directly.
I just found a patchwork twirly skirt tutorial here: http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2007/05/patchwork-circle-skirt.html
I've added it to my bookmarks site as well.
It's late, and my mind can not concentrate on reading the directions, so I can't say how good they are! But, the picture sure is cute!!!![]()
Have you tried "floating" a second piece of stablizer under the hoop in addition to the stablizer/garment in the hoop? For knits I use a heavy iron on cutaway (Decobond) and then again as the "floating" piece with the iron on side up(so I can iron it on after I am done. I also "grade" the stablizer layers for a better look.
Feel better Lisa! Hope you have a speedy recovery!
On a side note...just wanted to thank you again for the outfit you did for my not so little daughter! She has worn it so much already that I'm afraid it will be worn out by the time we go to Disney in September!Your the best-don't let those Ebay jerks get to you!
